The nature of not having any things should be regarded as small. This itself is the nature of perfect accomplishment, and because of its vastness, it is the essence of the cause for attaining all vehicles. The remaining ones should also be included in the same way. The medium object is to accomplish forms and so on according to their number through faith and suchness-mindedness, and to negate what is invisible and unseen. The aspect is that because all names do not exist, there are no terms used in ways that are similar to and different from permanence. Therefore, the nature of the dharma nature in which there is no increase or decrease of truths should be regarded as medium. The great object is that all dharmas from form to all-knowingness are said to be merely nominally designated. The aspect is that because they are good and so on, they cannot be expressed in any dharma. Therefore, the inexpressible nature of the truths should be regarded as great. Thus, because it has become a mountain sign from which the fire of non-conceptual supreme wisdom arises, warmth has become threefold. After that, the object and aspect of the peak were spoken. Forms etc. do not abide in those. Those are not self-existent in their essence. Those are one in nature of one. It does not abide in impermanence etc. Those are empty in their essence. Those are one in nature of one. What is it that does not grasp dharmas? Because those do not see signs. It is completely understood by wisdom. All abide without an object. It is said. The object of the small peak is that forms and so on do not abide in forms and so on because they are empty of their own nature due to being separated from their own essence. The aspect is that only in that way, all dharmas such as forms and so on and emptiness and so on are not of one essence with each other, so impermanence and so on do not exist in emptiness and so on, so they do not abide in those as impermanence and so on. Therefore, the truths are not impermanent and so on, and have the nature of not being done correctly, and should be understood as small. The medium object is that it does not

Impermanence and emptiness, etc., because they are without self-nature, therefore impermanence and emptiness, etc., are the same in essence with each other. The aspect is that self-nature is negated, so one does not grasp at form, etc., as "mine." Therefore, by means of the truths, grasping at the emptiness of the nature of impermanence, etc., as "mine," possessing the characteristic of truth, one should understand it as intermediate. The object of the great is that, because of the absence of self-nature, one does not see blue, etc., as characteristics in those forms, etc. The aspect is that wisdom ascertains that all things are unobtainable. Therefore, the characteristic of not seeing characteristics in the truths should be understood as great. Thus, since it is the peak of the roots of virtue, there are three types that have become the peak. After that, the object and aspect of forbearance are spoken of: "Form, etc., are without self-nature; that absence is self-nature; those are without birth, without departure; pure, and those are without characteristics; not relying on their characteristics; without desire, without conception." The object of small forbearance is that form, etc., are without self-nature because the self-nature of characteristics and the characteristics of self-nature are one in emptiness. The aspect is that the abandonment of delusion, the absence of things, is the self-nature of form, etc. Therefore, for the truths, knowing the characteristic of the self-nature of no self-nature, one should determine it as small, etc. The object of the middle is that, because of not being born by nature, there is no birth and no nirvana for form, etc. The aspect is that merely understanding the essence of all phenomena, the body, etc., becomes the cause of complete purification in all aspects. Therefore, the characteristic of liberation by realizing the selflessness of all defilements and purifications should be determined as intermediate. The object of the great is that all phenomena are unreasonable in their own and common characteristics, so form, etc., have no characteristics such as permanence. The aspect is that, solely by nature, form, etc., are separated from the support of characteristics, so by faith and attention, one does not have faith, and that is Suchness.
