It should be known as emptiness, and this should be realized as the Bodhi of the Mahayana. The Mahayana is pure in nature. The very nature of the Mahayana is purity. The so-called defilements of all dharmas are mere fabrications, therefore, knowing that its suchness is the nature of inexhaustibility and non-arising is the meaning of Bodhi. Now, in order to refute the other characteristics previously stated, it is said that "the wisdom of exhaustion and non-arising is Bodhi": "In the unobstructed nature, By the path called seeing, What kind of discriminating thoughts are exhausted? And what kind of unborn dharma is attained?" This is because the nature of all dharmas is the emptiness of grasping and holding. This emptiness is without beginning or end, and pervades everywhere. Therefore, the nature of grasping and holding of fabricated discriminations, which is incompatible with it, means that all defilements such as afflictions do not exist here. Therefore, on the path of seeing, what kind of discriminating thoughts are exhausted, and what kind of unborn dharma is attained? It means that nothing is attained. If it is said that in the nature of grasping and holding of all dharmas, the obscurations of knowable objects are completely eliminated, then how should it be explained? To this, the sutra says: "Other dharmas also exist, And are also shown in the knowable realm, What is said to be the elimination of obscurations? I am amazed by this." This is to say that dharmas such as the aggregates of form exist under the name of reality, and the obscurations of knowable objects of the Buddha, the Bhagavan, who holds these dharmas, are completely eliminated, and I am amazed by this. Dharmas such as the aggregates of form are objects that can be examined, and with my ability, the obscurations of knowable objects are fabricated there. Therefore, how can the obscurations of knowable objects be completely eliminated? To this, the sutra says: "There is nothing to be removed here, Nor is there anything to be added, See reality as it is, If you see reality, you will be liberated." Here, "here" means that with the clear continuum of the non-dual mind, all dharmas are reversed by their own nature, and are completely observed by the distinctions made by

Emptiness and clinging are both emptiness. Therefore, there is nothing to be removed from this emptiness. As the nature of the mind that serves as its basis, even emptiness would be removed from that. There is nothing to add to this, it is the nature of mind and so on. Then what should be done? It is said in the mind: Look at the truth as it is, and if you see the truth, you will be liberated. Seeing is to be realized through self-awareness. Truth is to be realized through valid cognition. Truth is suchness, the essence of emptiness. Whoever sees the truth and is liberated will be liberated from the bonds of samsara. After explaining the things that arise from opportunities such as Bodhi, what is mainly to be shown is the path of seeing, saying: Each of the giving and so on, whatever they hold each other, the forbearance of a moment, this that is held is the path of seeing. Then, entering the Lion's Play Samadhi, one contemplates the accordance and discordance with the principle of dependent origination. Giving and so on, means ending with seven. Giving and so on, one includes the others. They, means the five other than oneself. Mutually, means one to one. Holding, refers to the peak realization here. The path of seeing is to be realized in a single moment. That is also to be taken as the moment of forbearance of knowing the Dharma on suffering, and it is certain that it is not the other. The path of seeing mentioned here refers to the meaning of the mind being in control, which is widely known in the scriptures. Then, the Bodhisattva enters the Lion's Play Samadhi and contemplates the arising of the twelve links of dependent origination, that is, ignorance conditions action, and so on, and the reverse arising, that is, with the cessation of ignorance, action ceases, and so on. Contemplation means observation, that is, speaking of the path of seeing. Now, in order to show the sudden transcendence samadhi on this path of meditation, it is said: In the nine successive absorptions with cessation, coming and going in two ways, various forms belonging to the desire realm
