Regarding the saying "How does it become nine?", it is said in the (text): Attachment and Pratimoksha, as well as attention and the realms, all three are closely related, place and manifest clinging, as well as the imputed objects of Dharma, attachment and antidote, and the fault of acting as one pleases, one should first know as attachment. This means that in the stage of the excellent combination of the path of meditation, the attachment to be abandoned refers to the nature of clinging to what follows, and there are nine kinds of Dharmas such as liberation. The conceptualization of it is also the conceptualization of attachment, and there are nine kinds. These are all completely abandoned by the noble ones, therefore they are the Dharma of ordinary people. Among them, Samadhi and Pratimoksha, etc., refer to the real nature, taking what is lovely and unlovely as one's own and completely abandoning it, which is the conceptualization of attachment and Pratimoksha. Similarly, for other things, one should also observe how to practice reasonably by regarding them as one's own. Attention refers to paying attention to the meaning of what is being examined, which is the conceptualization of attention. The realms, all three are closely related, refers to immediately after death, the self is truly existent, entering the three realms, which is the conceptualization related to the three realms. Place refers to the stage of emptiness, which is the conceptualization of place. Manifest clinging refers to manifest clinging to the Buddha, etc., which is the conceptualization of manifest clinging. The imputed objects of Dharma refers to the imputed Dharma, the imputed object, which is the conceptualization of imputation. Attachment refers to attachment to generating the wisdom of suchness, which is the conceptualization of attachment. Antidote refers to the aspect of antidote to all afflictions, the nature of the path of Sravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, which is the conceptualization of the aspect of antidote. The fault of acting as one pleases refers to the fault of walking as one pleases without supernatural powers, etc., which is the conceptualization of the fault of acting as one pleases. This is the first set of nine conceptualizations of attachment. The second set of conceptualizations of attachment is the existence of imputation, how does it become nine?

Regarding what is said about "transformation": Intentionally, it will definitely not arise, holding what is not the path as the path, birth with cessation, having and not having things, places and lineages are destroyed, seeking and not seeking, and without cause, refuting is due to the object, the discriminating thought of grasping is other. That is to say, intentionally, it will definitely not arise, which means that the view of the Hearers has transformed into the three actions that are intentionally done as they are said, and each does not tend to them, which is the discriminating thought that intentionally will definitely not arise. Holding what is not the path as the path means that one does not fully know the path that one clearly desires, and holds other paths as the path, which is the discriminating thought of holding what is not the path as the path. Birth with cessation means that all imputed dharmas are discriminating thoughts of birth and cessation. Having and not having things means that all things appear separately as uninterrupted and interrupted, therefore there is having and not having, which is the discriminating thought of having and not having. Place refers to places such as form, which are like the sky-flyers who universally exist in the sky, which is the discriminating thought of place. Lineage is destroyed means that by generating the mind of enlightenment, the lineages of Hearers and others are destroyed, which is the discriminating thought of the destruction of the lineages of Hearers and others. Seeking and without cause means that seeking is emptiness, and there is nothing to seek in it, which is the discriminating thought of not seeking. Without cause means that there is no dependent arising, which is the discriminating thought of without cause. Refuting is due to the object means that pride and so on are the object, and refuting is the discriminating thought of the object. The thirty-six discriminating thoughts that are said to be abandoned on the path of seeing are the unfavorable and favorable sides, which are these. The differences in the stages of the path of seeing, one's own self and so on, should be understood as stated in the sutra. Then the path of seeing is first the wisdom that knows suchness, and also because it is gathered in the collection of wisdom, it is meritorious
