It is the path of seeing that possesses sixteen aspects. Its branch is the cause, which is increasingly superior due to the nature of meditating on four aspects. These, in order, are heat, peak, forbearance, and supreme mundane dharma. That is, obtaining heat, obtaining the peak, forbearance, obtaining forbearance, and obtaining the supreme mundane dharma. That which is in accordance with the part of ascertainment should also be stated. These are also present in the Hearers. They are also present in the Bodhisattvas. Among them, the object of those that are in accordance with the part of ascertainment of the Hearers and so forth are the four noble truths. The aspects are impermanence and so forth. The truth of suffering is characterized by impermanence, suffering, emptiness, and selflessness. The truth of origin is origin, the nature of cause and condition that thoroughly arises. The truth of cessation is the nature of cessation, peace, excellence, and definite liberation. The truth of the path is the nature of the path, reason, practice, and definite emergence. These are the object and aspects of the Hearers and so forth. The heat and so forth of the Bodhisattvas each become twelve types due to the distinction of small, medium, and large. From which of the Hearer's path of heat and so forth is it superior? In order to show those, it is said: By object and non-aspect, cause and well-grasped, the heat and so forth of the Bodhisattva protectors, as they are, relying on the four discriminations, small, medium, and large, are superior to the Hearer Pratyekabuddhas and followers. For knowing, the object and the aspect, and the cause of obtaining all three vehicles, the qualities of a virtuous friend who is skilled in means are completely grasped, and possessing the yoga of abandoning the four discriminations, the heat and so forth related to the Bodhisattva are superior by small, medium, and large. From where is it superior? It is said: Superior to the Hearer Pratyekabuddhas and followers. This means that it is superior to the heat and so forth related to the Hearers and Pratyekabuddhas. The object and aspects of the small heat

Now to be explained. The object of focus is impermanence, etc. That which has a basis in truth, its aspects prevent manifest clinging, etc. This is called. The object of focus refers to the dharmas of the object of focus, because it is the object of focus and acts as an object. Here, suffering, etc., which have the nature of the four truths, its aspects, the sixteen dharmas of impermanence, etc., are the object of focus. The object of focus, that is, for those objects of focus themselves, preventing manifest clinging, etc., the word 'etc.' also includes fabricated dharmas. Prevention means without manifest clinging, merely eliminating the subject and the dharmas. Furthermore, with the word 'non-entity', it is a distinction of entities. With the word 'non-object of focus', it is a distinction of the object of focus. It should be combined by those who seek reason. Among them, like illusion or not like illusion, is a distinction of the place of dispute, which will be explained and clarified later. Simply non-existent in every way is not to be admitted. The cause of attaining all three vehicles refers to the heat, etc., of the Bodhisattvas, which is also the cause of attaining the fruit of all three vehicles. The heat, etc., of the Hearers, etc., is the cause of attaining the fruit of their respective vehicles. The object of focus and the distinct explanation of the medium heat are: form, etc., arising and ceasing, this is the object of focus. Separation from abiding, this is the aspect. The arising and ceasing of the aggregates, sources, and elements of form, etc., is arising and ceasing. Cessation of abiding, this is the object of focus. The word 'cessation' is by the very root of the previous pursuit. The states of the words that express are dissimilar in continuity are separation from abiding. The states of similar continuity are called abiding, separation from abiding and separation from abiding, and the clinging to the cessation of abiding is abiding. The object of focus and the aspect of becoming great heat are spoken of. Imputation and inexpressible, wherein imputation is the object of focus. Inexpressible is the aspect. Its meaning is this: the aggregates, sources, and elements of form, etc., and all the dharmas of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, etc., are by nature unborn. The nature of each individual kind is liberated from the grasped and the grasper.
