If done in this way, then distinguishing with merit and suffering is indeed a well-established state. Speaking from the perspective of the Buddha's pure land being completely pure: Just as the sentient being realm is, the vessel realm is impure. By accomplishing purity in this, the Buddha land is indeed pure. This means that the sentient being realm refers to the designation including sentient beings. What is impure? It is thirst, hunger, and so on. After seeing other sentient beings, he gathers together the purification of the sentient beings of his own Buddha land, through aspirations and so on, gathering them to the enjoyment of the gods, thereby purifying the sentient being realm. Similarly, the vessel realm is the collection of inanimate objects. What is impure? Here, too, should be added thorns, stones, cliffs, and so on. After seeing other vessel realms, he gathers together the purification of the vessel realm of his own Buddha land, equally generating the foundation of the nature of gold and so on, which is to purify the vessel realm. The purity of the sentient being and vessel realms is said to be the purity of the Buddha land, because its very nature is such. To show skillful means, it is said: This realm is extremely connected, surpassing all enemies, non-abiding such as power and, uncommon characteristics and, non-attachment and non-objectification and, signs and aspirations are exhausted and, its signs and immeasurable, skillful means are ten kinds. This means that skillful means are the very methods of practice of the Buddha. Skillful in this refers to non-inverted wisdom, which is skillful means. This refers to skillful means, and its realm and extreme connection are to be spoken of. In this, there are three samadhis and the aspects of enlightenment, and so on. The realm has already been extensively explained in the sutra itself. Extreme connection refers to: surpassing all enemies, and so on, the ten lines, each of which must be correctly connected, so as to recognize the ten kinds. Enemies are the enemies themselves, such as seven, four, and so on. Whichever extreme connection surpasses them, that is the extreme connection that surpasses all enemies. In whatever way one abides in all dharmas, one will not easily

Abiding is the excellent combination of non-abiding. Whoever cultivates the path to enlightenment in order to act as desired, that is the truly powerful excellent combination. Whoever cultivates perfect conduct itself, that is the excellent combination that is not common to hearers and others. Whoever practices all the practices of enlightenment in order to dispel the fears of all sentient beings, that is the excellent combination of non-attachment. Whoever cultivates the cause of Buddhahood in order to show that all imputed dharmas are unattainable, that is the excellent combination of unattainability. Whoever diligently cultivates the cause of Buddhahood in order to clarify the characteristics grasped by all sentient beings, that is the excellent combination of no characteristics. Whoever practices the cause of enlightenment in order to make all sentient beings aspire and exhaust in the three realms, that is the excellent combination of no aspiration. "That of" refers to non-retrogression. Whoever indicates and understands it by what, etc., that is the excellent combination of appearance. Whoever cultivates the cause of enlightenment in order to save sentient beings with immeasurable realms and time, that is the immeasurable excellent combination. By dividing the excellent combination into ten types, skillful means are taught. The commentary on the Abhisamayalankara, the famous part, the commentary on the fourth chapter is completed. Commentary on the Fifth Chapter In the peak realization, the nine objects such as "its sign" are briefly indicated, and among them, it is said for the purpose of explaining the sign: Even in dreams, all dharmas are like dreams, such as looking at them. The signs of the combination that has reached the peak are established as twelve types. That is to say, there are twelve signs of the peak realization, among which, anyone who sees all dharmas as dreams in dreams is one sign. The word "etc." includes not generating the Bodhicitta of hearers and self-enlightened ones, and not generating the mind in the three existences, which is the second sign. Seeing Tathagatas and others in dreams is the third sign. Seeing the Buddha's miracles from the sky in dreams
