I, in order to make someone mature, rely on being skilled and not attached to what is desired, which is the Dharma-knowledge of the origin. Always practicing celibacy, etc., is the subsequent-knowledge-acceptance of the origin. Living purely and completely, etc., is living in a pure and beneficial way, which is the subsequent-knowledge of the origin. Aggregates, etc., refer to aggregates, realms, and sources. The explanation of 'with connection and subsequent connection, abiding and individually preventing' should also be viewed here. Among them, connection is manifest attachment. Subsequent connection is manifest non-attachment. Their abiding is the activity of the mind. Their individual prevention is the Dharma-knowledge-acceptance of cessation. 'Those who cause obstacles' refers to the Dharma that obstructs realization. Individually preventing the abiding with connection, as explained, is the Dharma-knowledge of cessation. 'Accumulations' refers to the accumulations of enlightenment. Individually preventing the abiding with connection and subsequent connection, as explained for generosity, etc., is the subsequent-knowledge-acceptance of cessation. 'With faculties,' 'waging war,' entering with faculties means that 'with faculties' refers to objects, etc. 'Where and with whom are faculties waged war?' The individual prevention of the abiding with connection and subsequent connection in the places where faculties and objects wage war is the subsequent-knowledge of cessation. 'Miserliness, etc.' refers to miserliness, etc., which are the opposite of the six perfections such as generosity. Individually preventing the abiding with connection and subsequent connection to them is the Dharma-knowledge-acceptance of the path. 'Dharma is not even a particle discernible' refers to the non-discernibility of the characteristics of the object of grasping and the grasper, which is the Dharma-knowledge of the path. 'Certainty in one's own ground,' 'abiding in the three grounds,' etc. Abiding with certainty in the three grounds of one's own ground, which is the nature of the three omniscient ones, is the subsequent-knowledge-acceptance of the path. 'Giving up life for the sake of Dharma' refers to the teachings of the sutras, abhidharma, and vinaya, and their meaning. Giving up even life for their sake is the subsequent-knowledge of the path. Such are the sixteen moments.

Those with wisdom abide in the path of seeing, and it is the true sign of non-retrogression. This is a brief summary. In order to understand the characteristics of the non-retrogressing Bodhisattva Sangha who abide in the path of meditation, and in order to explain its branches, the path of meditation, its branches are now temporarily proclaimed. The path of meditation is profound, and profound is emptiness, etc. Profound is liberation from the extremes of superimposition and denigration. The path of meditation is profound and difficult to realize. Profound refers to emptiness, etc., and through the word "etc.," one can understand signlessness, wishlessness, and self-luminousness. If it is said that the profundity of the path of meditation is emptiness, then what is emptiness like? To this it is said: liberation from the extremes of superimposition and denigration. Emptiness, which is liberated from the extremes of superimposition, is the meaning of "profound." Superimposition refers to conceptual thoughts. Denigration refers to manifest things. Emptiness, which is liberated from both, is a branch of the path of meditation. The characteristics of the path of meditation are proclaimed: the decisive part and the path of seeing, as well as the path of meditation itself, repeatedly thinking, measuring, and truly realizing the path of meditation. That is, abiding in the decisive part, the path of seeing, and the path of meditation, at that stage, with the wisdom of hearing, thinking, and meditating, in order, repeatedly thinking, measuring, and truly realizing, and what arises from these continuous processes is the path of meditation. How to think about these, it is said: because it is continuous, there are three types: small, medium, and large, and through the differences such as small of small, it is divided into nine types. The path of meditation is considered to be nine types. Similarly, it also describes the differences in its uncommon aspects in nine ways. How is it described? It is said: the three types: small, medium, and large, through the differences such as small of small. That is, small of small, small of medium, small of large, medium of small, medium of medium, medium of large.
