It is said to be so. This explains the difference between near and far. The aggregates, such as form, etc., that are grasped and held by the Hearers, etc., knowing them to be blessed by me, are the opposing factors. Determining those to be emptiness is the favorable factor. Knowing the nature of the three times to be one is the opposing factor. This is the past, this is the future, this is the present, thus being able to determine the difference is the favorable factor. Stinginess, etc., are the opposing factors. Attachment to generosity, etc., and attachment to the aspects of enlightenment are the favorable factors. These are also opposing factors for Bodhisattvas, and to show this meaning, it is said: Form, etc., aggregates, emptiness, etc., the dharmas realized in the three times, etc., generosity, etc., aspects of enlightenment, etc., the thought of practicing them is an opposing factor. Thus it is said. What are the favorable factors for those Bodhisattvas? Thinking thus, it is said: In generosity, etc., there is no self-grasping, causing others to also engage in them, that is because it prevents the extreme of attachment, to the Victorious Ones, etc., attachment is subtle. Thus it is said. In generosity, etc., oneself also constantly practices, causing others to also abide in them, realizing the absence of self and what belongs to self, without self-grasping, is the favorable factor for a Bodhisattva who has deeply entered non-attachment. The characteristic of entering non-attachment, referred to as "this" or "these," is the absence of pride. Preventing the extreme of attachment means exhausting and preventing the accumulation of attachment, therefore it is called prevention. If a Bodhisattva only engages in non-attachment, then offering to the Tathagatas, etc., reverence, prostration, and generosity, etc., would also be manifest attachment, and thus it would be a fault of becoming an opposing factor. If one thinks thus, it is true. However, this subtle attachment, which is the cause of the supreme accumulation, is also an opposing factor, one should not be afraid of this. How is it that this subtle attachment is also an opposing factor? Thus it is said: The path of Dharma is by nature, solitary, therefore it is extremely profound. Thus it is said. That is the wisdom of

Of the other shore. Profound is the realm empty of grasping and holding, which is its very nature. The path of Dharma is the collection of investigations, devoid of truth. Therefore, the Prajñāpāramitā is free from all attachments, so even subtle attachments are indeed unfavorable. How are these subtle attachments abandoned? Thinking thus, it is said: "The nature of all dharmas is one, by knowing, attachment is abandoned." Thus it is said. How is this Prajñāpāramitā difficult to realize? It is said: "By obstructing seeing and so forth, it is said to be difficult to realize." That is to say, seeing is the seen or the seer. The word "etc." includes the agent, the speaker, and so on. By obstructing these, the Prajñāpāramitā, the nature of the clarity of emptiness, is said to be difficult to realize. Therefore, because it is difficult to realize. The Blessed Mother is extremely profound. Furthermore, how is this Prajñā pāramitā inconceivable as an object of grasping and holding, and so on? It is said: "Because it does not know form and so forth, it is considered inconceivable." Thus it is said. "Form and so forth" means starting from the aggregates of form and so on, up to the ultimate nature of the unmixed Dharmas of the Buddha, gathered together with the objects of grasping and holding, this Prajñāpāramitā is considered inconceivable. Thus, the realization of objects such as grasping in the Prajñāpāramitā is an unfavorable aspect of the Bodhisattva. It is said that unfavorable and favorable aspects are gathered together. Thus, according to the principle of all-knowingness, the unfavorable and favorable aspects, all the distinctions, as have been said, should be known. Thus it is said. The distinctions between unfavorable and favorable aspects should be known by the Śrāvakas and Bodhisattvas, etc., who have made the meaning of all, in the order as it has been said. How should a Bodhisattva not engage in the extreme actions of a Śrāvaka who abides in all-knowingness? To show that meaning, it is said: "Form and so forth, impermanence and so forth, incompleteness and complete perfection".
