And, joy, bliss, one-pointedness of mind, these five limbs are the first dhyana. Inner purity, joy, virtue, one-pointedness of mind, these four limbs are the second dhyana. Equanimity, mindfulness, awareness, bliss, one-pointedness of mind, these five limbs are the third dhyana. Equanimity completely pure, mindfulness completely pure, suffering, non-pleasurable feeling, one-pointedness of mind, these four limbs are the fourth dhyana. The four formless realms are: having become detached from desire from the desire realm and the form realm, one focuses on space itself as being infinite. Therefore, it is the sphere of infinite space. Further detaching from desire from that, one focuses solely on consciousness itself as being infinite. Therefore, it is the sphere of infinite consciousness. Further detaching from desire from that, one focuses on nothingness itself. Therefore, it is the sphere of nothingness. Then, further detaching from desire from that, one focuses on neither perception nor non-perception. Therefore, it is called the sphere of neither perception nor non-perception. The application of accomplishing formless meditation should be combined with the intention of always having desire. Giving, etc., refers to the six perfections as spoken of before. The path refers to the paths of seeing, cultivation, no more learning, and the special paths. Loving-kindness, etc., refers to loving-kindness, compassion, joy, and equanimity. Wishing all sentient beings to have happiness is loving-kindness. Wishing them to be free from suffering is compassion. Wishing them not to be separated from happiness is joy. Wishing them to be free from suffering and to have happiness is equanimity, which is loving-kindness, etc. Having no object of focus means not focusing on all objects that are considered as the grasped and the grasper, but rather on the nature of focusing on non-duality. The purity of the three spheres means that the giver, the object of giving, and the recipient of giving are purified by appearing separately like dreams, etc. To do specifically means to be the best of all sentient beings and to be free from all faults.

Should be practiced, and endowed with all qualities, therefore, what is to be done is of three kinds. The so-called six superknowledges are those previously mentioned. The so-called way of knowing all aspects is to understand all dharmas of all kinds, which is to know all aspects. Its principle is the path. Climbing is the entry into the practice of the Great Vehicle, which is divided into nine kinds. Now, the collection of the three practices is to be discussed, namely, the six, such as love and generosity, as well as the path of union of calm abiding and insight, and skillful means, as well as wisdom and merit, as well as the path and dharani and the ten bhumis, and the order of practice of the collection of antidotes, should be known. Among them, becoming the collection of enlightenment, there are seventeen collections, namely: the collection of compassion, the collection of generosity, the collection of ethics, the collection of patience, the collection of diligence, the collection of meditation, the collection of wisdom, the collection of calm abiding, the collection of insight, the collection of the path of union, the collection of skillful means, the collection of wisdom, the collection of merit, the collection of the path, the collection of dharani, the collection of bhumis, and the collection of antidotes. Knowing calm abiding is single-pointedness of mind. The so-called possessing insight is to enter into possessing insight. Special seeing is insight, which is the meaning of wisdom. The so-called path of union is that calm abiding and insight are a union. The equal entry of the two is the path of union. The so-called skillful means is the means of the Buddha himself, which is the six perfections, and being proficient in them is skillful means. The so-called wisdom is the wisdom of the twenty emptinesses. The so-called merit is generosity, ethics, patience, and diligence, which is the object of these, is also merit. Knowing the path is the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment, and so on. The so-called dharani is the four kinds of dharani, namely: the dharani of patience, the dharani of dharma, the dharani of meaning, and the dharani of mantra. The so-called ten bhumis are the Joyful Ground and so on. The so-called antidote is the path of seeing and the path of cultivation, which are of two kinds.
