This is the second part concerning clinging to conceptual elaborations. Regarding the connection to the path of meditation: The so-called "unfavorable factors" are the unfavorable factors of the path of meditation. The phrase "by harming it" means precisely because of harming it. Someone might wonder, how does this become nine types? To this, the sutra says: "The three all-knowing natures, the three obscurations of suchness, the peaceful path, suchness, etc., having, not having, similarity, inequality, suffering, etc., the nature of all afflictions, in non-duality, all extremely ignorant, conceptual elaboration is considered the last." This refers to the latter type of clinging to conceptual elaborations. "The three all-knowing natures, the three obscurations of suchness," refers to the obscurations of all-knowingness. Wherever there is ignorance, the word "extremely ignorant" should be added at the end. Similarly, the word "extremely ignorant" should be added to everything else as well. Extremely ignorant of the obscuration of all-knowingness, extremely ignorant of the obscuration of the knowledge of the path, extremely ignorant of the obscuration of all-wisdom. "The peaceful path" refers to being extremely ignorant of the path of the Hearers, etc. "Suchness, etc., having, not having, similarity," refers to suchness, etc., and the moments, etc., included by the word "etc.," being extremely ignorant of these having or not having similarity with all dharmas. "Inequality" refers to being extremely ignorant of the similarity of the Perfection of Wisdom being the jewel of the Dharma. "Suffering, etc." refers to being extremely ignorant of the pleasure of suffering, etc. "The nature of all afflictions" refers to being extremely ignorant of the nature of afflictions such as desire. "In non-duality, all" refers to being extremely ignorant of the emptiness of the grasper and the grasped. To these nine phrases of "extremely ignorant," the word "conceptual elaboration" should also be added. This is the second part concerning clinging to conceptual elaborations, explaining the nine forms. Here, there are two types of the grasped conceptual elaborations to be abandoned on the path of seeing, and there are also two types of the grasping conceptual elaborations. Therefore, there are four types of conceptual elaborations. Each of them has nine types, so there are a total of

It becomes thirty-six. These themselves are further divided into three types according to the divisions of the desire realm, the form realm, and the formless realm, then the conceptualizations become one hundred and eight. Therefore, the conceptualizations to be abandoned on the path of meditation should also be recognized as one hundred and eight. All of these are unfavorable factors, and therefore, the difference between the stages of the path of seeing and the path of meditation should be abandoned by the antidote factors, as explained in the scriptures. It has been shown that the conceptualizations to be abandoned by the path of seeing and the path of meditation, accompanied by the antidote factors, are twenty-eight and sixteen. What will a Bodhisattva become after those conceptualizations that have been spoken of are exhausted? To this it is said: After these epidemic diseases are exhausted, like breathing out after a long time, one goes in all forms, all the perfections of virtues that accomplish happiness, like rivers flowing into a great ocean, hidden by the supreme fruit, for that great Bodhisattva, one should rely on in all forms. These are the conceptualizations that have been spoken of. Epidemic disease is the destruction of virtues, after these are exhausted. After a long time means after a long period of time. Like breathing out means like a life that comes again. Great Bodhisattva means a Bodhisattva who abides on the path of meditation. Because the path of meditation is immediately followed by the path of no interruption, the Samadhi of no interruption is spoken of. The beings in the three thousand worlds, the Shravakas and, the perfect realization of the Pratyekabuddhas and, the faultless Bodhisattvas, taking the virtues of creation as an example, with many merits, become the uninterrupted Buddhas, that Samadhi of no interruption, is the all-knowing. This is to say that in the three thousand worlds, wherever sentient beings dwell, those Bodhisattvas of the Shravakas and, the Bodhisattvas of the solitary Buddhas and, the realizations of the Bodhisattvas, etc., the virtues obtained by creation, are shown as an example, therefore, the difference of the Samadhi symbolized by the even greater merits and the extremely abundant merits, is like becoming the Samadhi of no interruption, thinking of this, it is said, the Buddha's
