Now and not distinguishing peace, the faultfinding of having no action, etc., the answer is just as it has been said. "Craving" refers to the mind that appears as the aspect of the three realms, together with afflictions. "Peace" refers to the mind that appears as the aspect of the three kayas of Dharma, enjoyment, and emanation, without afflictions, and is especially called the perfectly complete Buddha. Not being attached to these means not being able to distinguish them. Being blessed by emptiness, they are merely the nature of appearing in one's own mind, so it is the meaning of general knowledge. Why is it so? Because all phenomena are like dreams. The appearances of the mind, which is the nature of the waking state, are like dreams. A dream is when one is close to the state of sleep, and the appearance of hands, elephants, etc., appears in the mind. All phenomena are the same as this, and are far removed from ordinary nature, so realizing this is what is meant by Buddha. The answer to the faultfinding of having no action, etc., is just as it has been said. Regarding this, since all phenomena are like dreams, as it is said in the sutras: Similarly, in dreams, giving and harming others in various ways do not become merit or demerit. Similarly, the same consequences would occur in the state of not being asleep, which is a refutation. The answer should be understood as it is said in the sutras. As the Blessed One said, actions arise only from having an object, not from not having an object. In the state of dreaming, the mind is without an object, so it is reasonable that there is no demerit or merit from punishing and helping them, since they are not established in the continuum of others. But the ordinary state of being asleep is the appearance in the mind of an object that has become real and not deceptive, and is born from the continuum of others, so it has an object. As Master Vasubandhu said: "Mutual is the master, it is the determination of consciousness." That is to say, these are established in the continuum of others in the ordinary state of not being asleep.

If distinctions are made and judgments are rendered, then distinguishing with merit and suffering is indeed well-established. Speaking from the perspective of a completely pure Buddha-field: Sentient world is also like that, The vessel world is impure, By cultivating purity in that, The Buddha-field is pure. This means that the sentient world refers to the name that includes sentient beings. What is impure? It is thirst and hunger, and so on. After seeing other beings, he gathers the sentient beings of his own Buddha-field purely, approaching the enjoyment of gods through prayers and so on, thereby purifying the sentient world. Similarly, the vessel world refers to inanimate things. What is impure? This should also be added here: thorns, stones, cliffs, and so on. After seeing other things, he gathers the vessel world of his own Buddha-field purely, equally generating the foundation of the nature of gold and so on, which is to purify the vessel world. The purity of sentient beings and the vessel world is called the purity of the Buddha-field, because their nature is such. In order to show skillful means, it is said: This is the realm of excellent union, Transcending all enemies, Non-abiding, suchness, power, Uncommon characteristics, Non-attachment and non-objectification, Sign and aspiration exhausted, Its signs and immeasurable, Skillful means are ten kinds. This means that means are the methods of practice of the Buddha himself. Skillful in this is non-inverted wisdom, which is skillful means. This refers to skillful means, and its realm and excellent union are to be described, namely the three samadhis and the divisions of Bodhi, etc. The realm has already been extensively explained in the sutra. Excellent union refers to: Transcending all enemies, etc., the ten lines, each correctly combined, should be known as ten kinds. All enemies are the enemies themselves, such as seven, four, etc. Which excellent union transcends them? That is the excellent union that transcends all enemies. Who to all dharmas
