It is the samadhi of cessation, which is to enter that state. Among them, this sequential attention is different in its progression, so it is different, and it is called the samadhi of sudden transcendence. This is what is referred to here as the path of meditation of a Bodhisattva. Among the thirty-six types of attention to be abandoned by the path of meditation, the first nine types of apprehended conceptualizations that are spoken of are: brief and extensive, and Buddha's teachings not embraced, the three times without merit, the virtuous path has three, this one apprehended conceptualization, has the object of practice of application. Brief means teaching the Dharma briefly to sentient beings, which is the conceptualization of briefness. Extensive means teaching the Dharma extensively to them, which is the conceptualization of extensiveness. Buddha's teachings not embraced, refers to what is not embraced by the Buddha's teachings, which is the conceptualization of non-existence. The three times without merit, merit is rejoicing, referring to the absence of those. What will happen then? It refers to the three times, that is, at the time of the path of preparation, the conceptualization of no merit, at the time of the path of seeing, the conceptualization of no merit, and at the time of the path of meditation, the conceptualization of no merit. The virtuous path has three, refers to the three paths of Bodhi, that is, the conceptualization of the path of preparation, the conceptualization of the path of seeing, and the conceptualization of the path of meditation. This one apprehended conceptualization, refers to the very first apprehended conceptualization being divided into nine types. What is the difference? It is said, having the object of practice of application, that is the application of the path of meditation, what kind of difference is the object of practice? It is the object of what is to be subdued, that is, the first nine apprehended conceptualizations. What is the object of the second apprehended conceptualization? It is said, the second is mind and mental factors, it is considered to be the object of entering, not generating mind and not attending to the essence of Bodhi, and attending to the Lesser Vehicle, and

Not remembering perfect enlightenment. Meditation and non-meditation, and those that contradict them, unreal conceptualizations, should be known on the path of meditation. Thus it is said. Secondly, mind and mental events, are considered to be those with objects. This says that the mind and mental events that accompany the path of meditation, in the state of non-arising etc., whatever has an object, that is the meaning of the two conceptualizations of the apprehended. After that, non-arising of mind etc., these are said to be the objects of the nine types of conceptualizations. Non-arising of mind etc., means the conceptualization of the non-arising of the mind of enlightenment. Of enlightenment, not attending to the essence, means not attending to the essence of enlightenment, which is the conceptualization of not attending to the essence of enlightenment. Attending to the lesser vehicle, means the conceptualization of attending to the vehicle of the hearers, and the conceptualization of attending to the vehicle of the solitary realizer. Not attending to perfect enlightenment, means the conceptualization of not attending to truly perfect enlightenment. Meditation, means the conceptualization of meditation. Non-meditation, means the conceptualization of non-meditation. Those that contradict them, means the conceptualization of neither meditation nor non-meditation. Unreal meaning, means the conceptualization of unreal meaning due to the absence of an object. These are the nine categories of the two conceptualizations of the apprehended. How does the first conceptualization of grasping transform into nine types? It is said in the sutra: "The object of action of beings imputed, phenomena imputed and non-emptiness, attachment and discriminating nature, real things and the three vehicles, qualities that are not pure, actions that are extremely disturbed, the grasper is initially that, it should be known as proclaimed." The object of action of beings imputed, means that since beings are not truly existent, beings are the conceptualization of imputation. Phenomena imputed, means that since phenomena such as the aggregates are not truly existent, phenomena are the imputation of

The so-called "existing" refers to the conceptualization of imputing phenomena. The so-called "non-emptiness" refers to the fact that all phenomena imputed since samsara are not completely abandoned, therefore it is the conceptualization of non-emptiness. The so-called "attachment" refers to the fact that although the object of grasping and the grasper do not exist, there is a cause of thought that appears separately as the object of grasping and the grasper, therefore it is the conceptualization of attachment. The so-called "discriminating self-nature" refers to the conceptualization of discriminating phenomena, starting from "form" and up to "this is all-knowing." The so-called "acting as things," where "things" refers to form, etc. "Acting" refers to the complete union with the Bhagavati-mother for the sake of things like form, i.e., conceptualizing for the sake of things. The so-called "three vehicles" refers to the three vehicles that abide in definitive understanding, i.e., the conceptualization of the three vehicles. The so-called "offerings are not pure," which means if the Tathagatas are emanations, how can offerings to them become pure? This is the conceptualization of offerings not being pure. The so-called "conduct is confused" refers to following that treatise accurately for the sake of the meaning of the Prajnaparamita, which is conduct.
