In the realm of the four grounds, the characteristics of sixteen moments of distinction are spoken of in the sutras. Such as saying, "Inconceivable," and so forth, regarding what distinctions there are. As it is said: Inconceivable and unequal, Measurement and counting are completely transcended. The noble ones gather, the wise ones say, The knowable is not common, this is the truth. Knowing quickly, little and much are all without, Practice and truly accomplished, Object with support, All complete and holding entirely, Without taste and distinction, The sixteen self-natures should be known. By which path is superior to others, Because of its excellence, it is called the excellent path. That is to say, inconceivable and unequal, that is to say, all the dharmas of the Buddhas and so on are beyond thought, therefore it is called inconceivable. Transcending equality, therefore it is called inequality. Measurement and counting are completely transcended, that is to say, transcending measure and so on, therefore it is immeasurable. Transcending counting, therefore it is called immeasurable. These four distinctions, in order as they are, the four excellent moments transform into the truth of suffering. The noble ones gather, that is to say, all the noble ones gather within the Bhagavati Mother, this is one distinction. The wise ones say, the knowable is not common, this is the truth. That is to say, the Bhagavati Mother is known by the wise, this is the second. It is also the uncommon reality of the Hearers and so on, knowing this is the third. Knowing quickly, little and much are all without, that is to say, quickly realizing, this is the fourth, with four distinctions being excellent, it is the four moments of realizing the truth of the origin. Without little and much, that is to say, without little and much, this is one distinction. Practice and truly accomplished, that is to say, practicing the Bhagavati Mother, is an experience from hearing that goes higher and higher, this is the second. Truly accomplished, that is to say, obtaining the dharmas of the Buddhas from above and above, this is the third. Object, that is to say, with all self-natured things, the object is the Bhagavati Mother. With these four distinctions being excellent, they are the four moments belonging to the truth of cessation. With support, that is to say, with support, the Bodhisattva abides, therefore it is with support.

Here, the phrase "a Bodhisattva should grasp with the path and its components" signifies one distinction. "All" refers to all perfections. This is the distinction of all, the second distinction. "Completely mastering" means that a Bodhisattva who completely masters the Prajnaparamita will definitely become a Buddha, the third distinction. "Without taste" means that when a Bodhisattva completely dedicates all roots of virtue to unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, he does not experience the taste of all the dharmas he grasps and holds. This is excelling through four distinctions, the fourth moment of the truth of the path. The phrase "distinguished path" and so on, is to explain the meaning of the word "distinction," which is to summarize. The "complete combination" spoken before explaining the characteristics of distinction refers to me, the Bodhisattva, who will explain, who is the one who does beneficial and other activities. Among them, the characteristics of the actions of complete combination are explained: benefit, happiness, and protection, as well as the refuge of people, dwelling, protector, and island, as well as the one who completely guides, spontaneously accomplished and the fruit of the three vehicles, not manifesting myself, is the final action, this is the characteristic of action. The word "people" should be added to all sentences. "Benefit" refers to showing the path of Nirvana as benefit itself, which is the action of benefit. "Happiness" refers to establishing the happiness of Nirvana, which is the action of happiness. "Protection" refers to protecting all sentient beings from falling, which means that protection is teaching the Dharma, which is the action of protection. "Refuge" refers to liberating beings who are near fear from fear, which is the action of refuge. "Dwelling" refers to being near as the nature of the dwelling of all sentient beings, which is the action of dwelling. "Protector" refers to making beings who have gone into Samsara possess all qualities, which is the action of protector. "Island" refers to placing beings who are drowning in the ocean of afflictions such as desire on the land of Dharma, which is the action of island. "Completely guiding,"
