Faults are those that obstruct thorough application, and these have been spoken of. Faults are in groups of ten, with four, plus six, should be definitely understood as six. The meaning is forty-six faults, that is, obtaining Prajnaparamita after a long time, and the mind being distracted by Prajnaparamita very quickly, and understanding Prajnaparamita. This is also a fault, because it has not been practiced for a long time, like a field whose roots have not been destroyed, or like lightning, it shakes and is unstable. Not listening to the Blessed Mother, etc., the body is distracted, the mind is distracted, reading, etc., are done due to disbelief, etc., due to distrust of the Blessed Mother, holding onto the words of conduct, etc., attachment to the cause of obtaining the Blessed Mother is lost, the nectar of the supreme Dharma is the Blessed Mother, the supreme taste of it is lost, the Mahayana is held to be the supreme of all vehicles is lost, the action of entering the Blessed Mother is lost, this is the first ten. Being confused about the method of obtaining the Blessed Mother, the words are insufficient, and also truly confused about the excellent points, completely understanding the Blessed Mother as many different meanings, being attached to not asking the Blessed Mother, being attached to the Blessed Mother having no things, being attached to the Blessed Mother having letters, being attached to the Blessed Mother having no letters, thinking of the places of beings, etc., accepting gain and respect and praise, etc., and in the sutras of the Hearers, etc., the method of obtaining enlightenment that is not among them is considered the path of skill, this is the second ten. The teachers and listeners of the Dharma, the desire to become unfavorable to the teaching of the Dharma is an unfavorable desire. Due to the difference in the object of desire, there is desire for the unfavorable side. Not wanting to find a lama, but only wanting to find a few students, this is wanting the unfavorable side. Diligence and non-diligence in the qualities of learning is an unfavorable desire. Wanting good and bad is an unfavorable desire. Wanting good and bad is an unfavorable desire.
