Thus, this and also this, and this is the three. With this, the three stages are fully shown. As the reason stated, "this and" means all-knowing. "Also this" means knowing the path. "And this is" means knowing everything, thus the three chapters are fully shown. From the commentary on the Ornament for Clear Realization, the famous part, the commentary on the third chapter. Commentary on the fourth chapter. In order to gain mastery in fully understanding the three all-knowing ones, the objects, paths, and aspects are summarized. It is said that the three aspects of all-knowing should be meditated upon, thereby proclaiming the complete clear enlightenment of all aspects. The aspects of the basis and wisdom, the aspect is its nature. Because the all-knowing itself has three aspects, it is considered to have three aspects. The basis means contemplating the four truths and so on in the nature of phenomena. Among them, what is the aspect of wisdom? It is the differentiation of impermanence and other dharmas that transform into the function of wisdom and transform into realization. The aspect of these is the nature, which is the characteristic. Since all the all-knowing ones have three aspects, their aspects are also only three. Among them, the aspects of realizing all-knowing are proclaimed. Starting from the aspect of non-existence, up to the aspect of immovability, there are four for each truth, and fifteen are said for the path. Starting from the aspect of non-existence, up to the other shore of immovability, there are twenty-seven aspects in total. The truths of suffering, origin, and cessation each have four. The remaining fifteen are the truth of the path. Among them, suffering has four aspects: the nature of non-existence, the nature of equality, the nature of solitude, and the nature of non-seeking. Origin has four aspects: the nature of no place, the nature of no space, the nature of unspeakability, and the nature of no arrogance. Cessation has four aspects: the nature of no coming, the nature of no antidote, the nature of no exhaustion, and the nature of no birth. The path has no maker, no knower, no transfer, no decay, like a dream, like an image, like a mirage, like an illusion.

and, without all afflictions, without purification, completely unpolluted, without arrogance, without agitation, and dreams, totaling fifteen. In general, there are twenty-seven, which are the aspects of knowing everything. Speaking from the perspective of the knowledge of the path: Cause, path, suffering, and cessation, in order, are, those eight and seven, and five and sixteen, so it is said. That is to say, the cause is the origin. The reason for speaking of the origin first here is that it is the means to become the result. The reason for speaking of suffering and cessation later is that they are the result. Their aspects are, in order, eight, seven, five, and sixteen, as stated in the sutras. Among them, the origin has detachment from attachment, no dwelling, peace, no desire, no hatred, no delusion, no affliction, no truth, totaling eight. The path has immeasurability, not following the two extremes, no difference, not dependent on others, no discrimination, no measurability, no opportunity, totaling seven aspects. Suffering has impermanence, suffering, emptiness, selflessness, no characteristic aspects, totaling five. Cessation has inner emptiness, outer emptiness, inner and outer emptiness, emptiness of emptiness, great emptiness, ultimate emptiness, conditioned emptiness, unconditioned emptiness, emptiness beyond extremes, emptiness without beginning or end, emptiness without abandonment, emptiness of nature, emptiness of all dharmas, emptiness of self-characteristic, emptiness of non-apprehension, emptiness of the nature of non-things, sixteen aspects, totaling thirty-six aspects. The aspects of realizing all-knowingness are explained. All-knowingness with three distinctions, in accordance with the truth of the path, from mindfulness onwards, until the final Buddha-nature, for disciples, Bodhisattvas, and Buddhas in order.

Indeed. Thirty-seven and thirty-four, it is accepted as thirty-nine. That is to say, all the noble beings are completely gathered, which is the all-knowing. The number of paths that perfectly gather the three all-knowing ones, just as the thirty-seven of the Shravakas, the thirty-four of the Bodhisattvas, and the thirty-nine of the Buddhas are accepted.\ Among them, mindfulness of the body, mindfulness of feelings, mindfulness of mind, mindfulness of phenomena, these are the four mindfulnesses. Abandoning the sins and non-virtuous dharmas that have arisen, not causing the non-virtuous dharmas that have not arisen to arise, causing the virtuous dharmas that have not arisen to arise, increasing the virtuous dharmas that have arisen, these are the four right abandonments. Samadhi of aspiration, samadhi of effort, samadhi of mind, samadhi of investigation, these are the four legs of miraculous power. Power of faith, power of effort, power of mindfulness, power of samadhi, power of wisdom, these are the five powers. These themselves are not overcome by opposing factors, therefore they are the strength of faith, the strength of effort, the strength of mindfulness, the strength of samadhi, and the strength of wisdom, these are the five strengths. Mindfulness as a branch of perfect enlightenment, discrimination of dharmas as a branch of perfect enlightenment, effort as a branch of perfect enlightenment, joy as a branch of perfect enlightenment, tranquility as a branch of perfect enlightenment, samadhi as a branch of perfect enlightenment, equanimity as a branch of perfect enlightenment, these are the seven branches of enlightenment. Right view, right thought, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, right samadhi, these are the eightfold noble path. These are the thirty-seven aspects of realizing the all-knowingness, which are for the disciples. Emptiness, signlessness, wishlessness
