Da. Thus it is said. The Prajñāpāramitā is here knowing all. Here, the Śrāvakas do not fully know the equality of all times, therefore they do not accept Saṃsāra, Nirvāṇa, and also the Middle Way. It should be understood that Bodhisattvas should not make such a commitment, that is the Prajñāpāramitā. The so-called "not this shore" refers to Saṃsāra. The so-called "not the other shore" refers to Nirvāṇa. The so-called "not abiding between them" refers to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. The so-called "desire" is the true desire. Regarding "what" it is said: In order to know the equality of all times. It means that all things of the three times, whose nature is self-luminous, emptiness, without grasper and grasped, that is equality, actually manifesting this equality, therefore it is said not abiding in Saṃsāra and not abiding in Nirvāṇa. If emptiness is omnipresent, then the Prajñāpāramitā that realizes emptiness is also omnipresent, why can't the Śrāvakas realize it, and only the Bodhisattvas can realize it? Regarding this thought, it is said in the sutra: From the gate of focusing on characteristics, it is far away because it is not a means. Because of skillful means, it is said to be truly near. It means that the so-called "from the gate of focusing on characteristics" is to grasp the aggregates, etc., as the grasper and the grasped, this is because of grasping the characteristics. Focusing on the grasper and the grasped is not a means. Because it is not a means, the Śrāvakas' Prajñāpāramitā is far away, just like manifesting impermanence, etc., but no definite understanding arises. Buddhas, etc., are skillful means, preventing the grasper and the grasped. The Prajñāpāramitā of the nature of manifesting the emptiness of nature is completely near. This explains nearness and distance. Śrāvakas, etc., regard the aggregates such as the grasper and the grasped as blessed by me, this is the unfavorable side. Determining these as emptiness is the antidote. Knowing the nature of the three times as one is the unfavorable side. This is the past. This is the future.

. Knowing the distinction that this is now is the opposing side. Miserliness and so on are the non-corresponding side. Attachment to generosity and so on, and attachment to the aspects of enlightenment are the opposing side. These are also the non-corresponding side of the Bodhisattva, and it is said to show this: "Form and so on, the emptiness of the aggregates, the dharmas realized in the three times, generosity and so on, the aspects of enlightenment, the notion of acting is a non-corresponding side." That is the meaning. What is the opposing side of those Bodhisattvas? Thinking this, it is said: "Generosity and so on, without self-grasping, others also cause to practice it, that prevents the edge of attachment, attachment to the Victorious Ones and so on is subtle." That is to say, regarding generosity and so on, oneself also completely practices, and also causes others to abide in it, because of realizing the absence of self and what belongs to self, therefore there is no self-grasping, this is the opposing side of the Bodhisattva who has entered into non-attachment. The characteristic of entering into non-attachment, which is called "this" or "this itself," is the absence of pride. Preventing the edge of attachment is to exhaust and prevent the collection of attachments, therefore it is prevention. If the Bodhisattva only enters into non-attachment, then in that case, making offerings to the Tathagatas and so on, respecting, prostrating, and also generosity and so on, are also manifest attachments, therefore it would become a non-corresponding side, if you think like that, it is correct. The subtle attachment that is the cause of the unsurpassed collection, this is also the non-corresponding side, do not be afraid of this. This subtle attachment is the non-corresponding side, how is that? To this it is said: "The path of Dharma is by nature, solitary, therefore it is profound." That is to say, that is the Prajnaparamita. Profound means the realm that is empty of the grasper and the grasped, that is, by its very nature. The path of Dharma is the collection of discriminations, it is without truth. Therefore, in that Prajnaparamita, because of being separated from all attachments, therefore subtle attachment is also the non-corresponding side. Then, how to abandon subtle attachments? Thinking this, it is said: "All dharmas are of one nature,"
