And, whoever is skilled in means is the cause of having faith in this. The causes of being impoverished in Dharma are being oppressed by the hordes of demons, not having faith in the profound Dharma, being attached to the aggregates, etc., and being controlled by sinful friends. Thus it is said. To attend to and revere all the Tathagatas, to become accustomed to the ten perfections such as generosity, and means are the cause and condition for attaining Buddhahood itself. Being skilled in that is the true cause of having faith in the Buddhadharma. Being oppressed and harmed by the hordes of demons, not having faith in the profound Dharma, being attached to the aggregates, elements, and sense bases, and being controlled by sinful friends, this is the cause of being impoverished in Dharma. The path of meditation on the characteristics of purity is proclaimed: The fruit is pure, form, etc., is purity itself, because, the two are not different, because of being indivisible, it is called pure. Thus it is said. The fruit is enlightenment, the stainless purity, which is definitely liberated from the opposing side, that is not other, however, form, etc., is purity itself. The aggregates of form, etc., containing defilements, wherever purity is, that is itself, therefore, the purity of the fruit and the purity of form, etc., the two are inseparable, because of being indivisible, it is said to be non-different, this is because both the fruit and form, etc., are pure, so they are not established as different. The meaning of indivisible is the meaning of the nature of the purity of the fruit and the purity of form, etc., being non-dual. After showing the common characteristics of purity, the distinctions are proclaimed: Afflictions, knowable, and the three paths, for eliminating faults, the purity of the disciples, solitary realizers, and the Bodhisattvas, the Buddhas are all extremely pure. Thus it is said. Abandoning the afflictions of desire is the purity of the Shravakas. Abandoning the conceptual thought of grasping one side of the obscuration of knowledge is the purity of the Pratyekabuddhas. Abandoning the obscurations to attaining the three vehicles is the purity of the Bodhisattvas. Abandoning the afflictive and cognitive obscurations, together with their imprints, on all phenomena of all aspects, is the extreme purity, that is, of the Buddhas, the Bhagavat.

Is utterly pure. The nine grounds are the eight samadhis of the desire realm, the form realm, and the formless realm, and those purities are to be cultivated. Therefore, for the nine grounds, nine aspects of the path of cultivation should be taught. For the nine grounds, namely the great, the great and so on, the defilements, through the door of antidotes, the small, the small and so on are the path. This means that because it purifies, it is pure. The antidote to the nine aspects of the great, the great and so on, the unfavorable aspects, is the order of the path of the small, the small and so on, and thus there are nine aspects. The purity of the Buddha, that is, as it is said in the meaning of how extreme: By abandoning that contention, the path is pure in measure and object, knowing the equality of the three realms, it is desired as the antidote. This means that the equality of measure and object, what is measured is grasping, what is to be measured is what is grasped, and their equality is neither one nor two, and because it is unestablished, it is equal. They themselves, by the nature of the antidote to the three realms, as it is said, the extremely pure Buddha Bhagavan of the path of cultivation of the extreme. By abandoning that contention, this means that the nature of the unfavorable aspects of the small, the small and so on, the antidote to the small, the small and so on, is unreasonable. It is reasonable for the great, the great and so on, of the antidote to abandon the small, the small and so on, of the unfavorable aspects. For example, washing away the subtle stains attached to clothes can be abandoned by the great diligence of the washer. Therefore, it should be understood in the order as it is said. The explanation of the second chapter in the Ornament for Clear Realization Commentary, named "Part of Fame," is completed. Explanation of the Third Chapter Now, whatever all-knowing ones, such as the Hearers, have said from the Vinaya Pitaka about the sixteen aspects of the four truths, etc., should be understood in the same way on this Bodhisattva path. Thus, for the sake of understanding, it is said: Not on this shore, the far shore, or the edge, Not dwelling between them, In order to know the equality of all times, It is called the Perfection of Wisdom.
