This is the activity of diligence. Knowing the path is solely the activity of a Bodhisattva. Therefore, some might think that the path of the Hearers and others should not be taught here. However, a Bodhisattva should purify and familiarize themselves with the path of the Hearers and others through their own wisdom. Therefore, the path of the Hearers is taught. Regarding the manner of knowing the path: This path of the Hearers should be understood through the gate of not observing the aspects of the four noble truths. That is, in the truth of suffering, there are four aspects: impermanence, suffering, emptiness, and peace. Peace means the meaning of selflessness. In the truth of origin, there are eight aspects: origin, cause, production, condition, disease, result, illusion, and unpleasantness. Furthermore, for the truths of suffering and origin, there are four aspects: otherness, destructible nature, impermanence, and quiescence. Also, for these, there are three aspects: fearfulness, harmfulness, and leading. In the truth of cessation, there are seven aspects: self-nature, peace, separation, emptiness, signlessness, wishlessness, and unconditionedness. In the truth of the path, there are four aspects: path, reason, accomplishment, and deliverance. These are the paths that lead the Hearers into the city of Nirvana. A Bodhisattva, without fixating on the nature of grasping and being grasped in these aspects, and by fully focusing on the non-duality of reality, attains perfect and complete enlightenment through this path of individually knowing reality as it is. The other paths of the Hearers, such as the heat stage, are taught separately. Therefore, a Bodhisattva should practice correctly in this way, as it is said: In the noble Hearer's path, because form and so on are empty, and because the emptinesses are undifferentiated, these heat stages are not observed, and are considered to be the peak. Because abiding is prevented by means of equal reasons and so on.

Sentient beings, starting from the ten bhumis, are taught in a way that does not dwell on vast accumulations, and it is said that it turns into the supreme Dharma. Why is that? Because the Buddha knows but does not see the aspects of all phenomena. That is to say, the emptiness of form, etc., and the emptiness of form, etc., are not different. Knowing these is to become the peak by not seeing form, etc. "That" refers to the prohibition of the existence of permanence and impermanence on form, etc., which is the meaning of forbearance. The ten bhumis refer to the ten bhumis, starting with the Joyful Ground, and teach that one does not dwell on the vast accumulation of speech on all dharmas, that is, by the way of observing the grasped and the grasper, it shows that everything is unacceptable. However, how do we know that one does not dwell on the way of observing all dharmas, and that it is only the way of clarifying one's own nature? Therefore, it is said, "Why is that? Because of the Buddha." That is, the Blessed One has not truly seen the observed aggregates, realms, and sources of phenomena, and has not seen them only with the nature of clarity, because if so, the Blessed One Buddha would become the fault of being without a master. If it is thought that there is no Blessed One Buddha in the conventional truth, then the collection that is different from matter, the collection without two, if this is not established, then the conventional truth will become the fault of not being established because there is no dependence, this is said to be the realization of the supreme Dharma. The Noble Hearer Path refers to the meaning that Bodhisattvas should also know to make distinctions and establishments on the Hearer Path. Wanting to show that the Solitary Realizer Path is superior to the Hearer Path, therefore it is said that the Buddha of the Solitary Realizer is superior to the Buddha of the Hearer himself. "In order to realize the nature of self-arising, one does not need the teachings of others, and the wisdom like a rhinoceros is said to be a profound manifestation." That is to say, the Hearers are liberated after hearing from others. The Solitary Realizer does not rely on the teachings of others, but is liberated by the power of previous habits. Therefore, for them, there is no need for others to teach, which is a special feature. Hearer
