The ninth ground that will be explained, by which gatherings, all those combined are the gathering of the tenth ground. It should be known by the force of meaning, therefore its gathering should not be spoken of separately. The tenth ground is spoken to show its nature: "After passing the nine grounds, with what wisdom does one abide in the Buddha ground? That is the tenth ground of the Bodhisattva, it should be known." That is, after passing the nine grounds, it is the nine grounds of lineage, etc. Among them, the lineage ground is the lineage holder of Nirvana. The eighth ground is the separate entrant into the fruit of the stream-enterer. The ground of seeing is for the stream-enterers. The attenuated ground is for the once-returners. The ground of detachment from desire is for the non-returners. The ground protected by action is for the three separate entrants. The Hearer ground is the ground of the Hearers. The Self-Buddha ground is the ground of the Self-Buddhas. The Bodhisattva ground is for the Bodhisattvas, combining all the nine grounds mentioned earlier. Having completely passed from these nine grounds, with what wisdom of the Bodhisattva does one abide in the position of the All-Illuminating Buddha, that nature of wisdom is the tenth ground of the Bodhisattva. Having spoken of the gatherings of the grounds, now the gatherings of antidotes are to be spoken of, therefore, with that in mind, it is said: "On the paths of seeing and meditation, in order to pacify the conceptualizations of grasping and the grasped

Ra. These are called the eight antidotes. That is to say, on the path of seeing, the four antidotes are the nature of the four distinctions of the state. On the path of meditation, the four aspects of the antidote are the nature of the four distinctions of the state. It should be understood that the paths of seeing and meditation are the eight antidotes with the nature of their respective distinctions. What is the purpose of knowing this? It is said that "what is grasped," etc., abides in the nature of mere objects, and abides in the object of the antidote, which are the two aspects of grasping. The nature of the substance of the person, and the nature of the person based on imputation, are the two aspects of the grasping mind. On the path of seeing, there are four aspects of grasping and grasping minds. On the path of meditation, there are also four aspects of grasping and grasping minds. In order to pacify and abandon those unfavorable aspects of the eight grasping and grasping minds, the eight antidotes should be understood. The fourth statement is the definitive arising of practice: specifically doing and equality, benefiting sentient beings and effortless action, as well as the supreme definitive arising, the nature of the characteristic of the aspect, in all omniscience, having the object of practice of the path of definitive arising, these eight natures are called the practice of definitive arising. Specifically doing means that with the three distinctions of great sentient beings, etc., it becomes the supreme nature that surpasses all sentient beings. Equality means that the self-luminous nature, all dharmas, are equal in the emptiness of what is grasped and what grasps. Benefiting sentient beings means benefiting sentient beings as long as samsara in space is not empty. Effortless action means accomplishing the affairs of all sentient beings without hindrance. Supreme means the definitive arising that abides in the equal nature of the two extremes of permanence and annihilation. The characteristic of obtaining the nature means obtaining the meaning of the three vehicles. In all omniscience means completely knowing all aspects. Having the object of practice of the path of definitive arising means the nature of the ten perfections, which are not common to the Shravakas, etc., which is the Bodhicitta.
