Ground, etc., without abandonment; all things of nature; phenomena such as birth, past, etc.; forms such as connection and other; emptiness of space, speech, and; objects other than dharma; emptiness of each's own nature; these are said to be the twenty emptinesses. Thus it is. The so-called emptiness is that which is empty of its own nature, which is bright in all respects, so Maitreya and others believe. Inner means that the body is empty of the nature of the five faculties such as the eye, and that is inner emptiness. Outer means that the body is empty of forms and so on outside, and that is outer emptiness. Both means that the nature of nails and so on, which are not outside the body and are not pervaded by the senses of the body, is empty. Therefore, that is inner-outer emptiness. The emptiness of things means that persons and so on are empty. That is the emptiness of emptiness. Direction means that the ten directions are empty. That is great emptiness. The path of nirvana means that nirvana together with the path is empty, and that is ultimate emptiness. Born from cause and other things. The three realms born from cause are empty. That is the emptiness of conditioned phenomena. Other means unborn and so on. That is the emptiness of unconditioned phenomena. Beyond the limits, etc., without abandonment, etc. All things of nature, etc. Beyond the limits means that it is a permanent thing. Its emptiness is the emptiness beyond the limits. The word "etc." includes that which has no beginning and no end, that is, that which has no beginning and no end, which is samsara. Its emptiness is the emptiness without beginning and end. Abandonment means distraction. That which is without it is without abandonment, that is, without leakage. It is the path without leakage. Its emptiness is the emptiness without abandonment. Nature means the realm of dharma, and its emptiness is the emptiness of nature. All things means that all things are empty. Its emptiness is the emptiness of all dharmas. Phenomena such as birth, etc., past, etc. Phenomena such as birth, etc., are the birth of conditioned phenomena.

And so forth, the dharmas, namely birth, abiding, aging, and the nature of conditioned phenomena. Its emptiness is the emptiness of its own nature. Past and so on refers to the past, future, and present, which are the three times. Its emptiness is the emptiness of non-apprehension. Related and other forms, among which the truly related form is the dharma that is truly possessed, such as the aggregation of rice and mustard seeds, etc. Its emptiness is the emptiness of the nature of non-things. Other forms are non-things, these are the causes and effects and mustard seeds, etc., which are used as terms. Its emptiness is the emptiness of non-things. Called the emptiness of space refers to what is called space and what is called emptiness, namely things and non-things. Knowing the Dharma refers to the Dharma of scripture and realization, its emptiness is the emptiness of its own nature. Other things and the emptiness of their own nature refers to, other is the nature separate from the body, by nature, that is, by its own nature it is empty, therefore it is called the emptiness of other things. For the collection of emptiness, there is no self-nature, in order to cut off the imputation of beings to that and that aspect, twenty emptinesses are proclaimed. Fully understanding these is the collection of wisdom. The ten grounds refer to what is called the collection of grounds. The ten grounds are the Joyful Ground, the Stainless Ground, the Luminous Ground, the Flaming Wisdom Ground, the Very Difficult to Conquer Ground, the Manifest Ground, the Far-Reaching Ground, the Immovable Ground, the Good Wisdom Ground, and the Cloud of Dharma Ground. The collection of these is spoken in order to realize them in sequence: With ten purifications, the first ground will be obtained, things of thought and benefit, and equality of mind towards beings, giving and relying on spiritual friends, and seeking the object of the true Dharma, the mind of constant renunciation, and the joy of wanting to become a Buddha body, and teaching the Dharma and the truthful, words are considered the tenth. With these self-natures unobtainable, one should know purification. That is, thought refers to the thought of not deceiving all sentient beings.
