Wisdom is the cause of accomplishing the other perfections, and it is to avert the six opposing factors such as stinginess. The term "two" refers to the two roots, namely the sixty-two views, which should be understood by following the Sutra of Brahma's Net. The term "gathered" should be used in conjunction with "within the view of the perishable aggregation," because all views are viewed through the lens of self-view. Just as other faculties gather within the life-faculty, therefore, "for example" and so on are mentioned. The term "will cease" means that they will cease, because the cause of the continuation of the stream of the eye and so on is the life-faculty, and without it, the nature of the power of the eye faculty and so on gathered within it will not arise. The term "spoken of as gathered" means that similarly, if there is no wisdom based on the stainless mind, then, depending on the distinctions within it, generosity and other perfections will cease. Therefore, all these perfections endowed with the practice of wisdom are said to be gathered within it, which is the concluding statement. The increase has been explained. The teaching here is to benefit those beings with skillful means, thinking that I should only learn, therefore, even if one truly studies all the qualities of the Hearers and so on, one will not cling to or rejoice in them. Therefore, the skillful Bodhicitta and so on arise. Among them, "that" refers to the qualities of the Hearers and so on. "Abiding" refers to the object, which should be used in conjunction with "without," because they also truly realize selflessness. The term "not generate" means not generating, thinking that this is because of the great compassion being under the control of others. Thus, if the teaching is excellent through the nature of non-retrogression, then the mind of non-retrogression, which is embraced by Samadhi, is the supreme source of merit for those who rejoice in others, therefore, non-retrogression and so on are mentioned. The term "measuring with a scale" means putting it on a scale.

Ground. The term "measurable" means that it can be determined. That is, as it is said in the scriptures, in the immeasurable realms of the world, the Mount Meru can be measured to know its size, but the accumulation of merit from rejoicing in worldly virtuous deeds is not something that can be measured in this way. Why? Just as it is said here, practicing virtuous deeds, etc., rejoicing in irreversible bodhicitta is rejoicing in the accumulation of merit of all those who desire liberation. This is a concluding word. The liberation of beings arises from the teachings of the perfect Buddha, and the perfect Buddha also depends on irreversible bodhicitta. Therefore, rejoicing in it is rejoicing in the merit of all beings, so it is said "therefore" etc. The term "therefore" is for the sake of the liberation of the nature of perfect wisdom. In some places, "why" appears, which should be understood as asking "why." "Those" refers to the irreversible ones. "In order to exhaust suffering" is in order to abandon afflictions and their habitual tendencies, otherwise suffering cannot be exhausted. In this way, through the increase of wisdom from obtaining samadhi, from the state corresponding to the decisive aspect, as an antidote to conceptual thought, the excellent nature of the path of seeing arises. That conceptual thought, that is, the conceptual thought of the object of grasping and the grasper, because each has two aspects, there are a total of four aspects. Among them, relying on all aspects of entering the conceptual thought of the object of grasping, in order to counteract it, because the dharmas such as bodhicitta do not have conceptual thought of self-nature, it is in order to fully understand emptiness, etc. Whatever a Bodhisattva does, etc., what is said here is that all dharmas are included in the aspects of entering, such as bodhicitta, etc. "Without elaboration" means without the elaboration of desire. By eliminating reliance on all aspects of turning away, all obstacles are eliminated.
