Ah, even though born in the desire realm, they think they will not be defiled by it. Then, why are they born there? Because "great beings" and so on are mentioned. The so-called "great beings" are the Bodhisattvas, who, in order to abide in the desire realm again, combine with the opportune time. The so-called "merely to fully mature sentient beings" means that in order to fully mature the actions of the sentient beings to be tamed, who are born together with those who have the same karmic connection. The so-called "purifying the field" is for the sake of purifying the vessel world, because in the desire realm, one sees disharmonious things such as stones and thorns, and in order to separate them from these, one engages in accumulating virtuous deeds. The so-called "perfection" is for the sake of perfecting these pāramitās again. Making sentient beings fully mature is the cause of perfecting the accumulations. Just as Bodhisattvas make others fully mature, they will also make their own Buddha-dharma complete. Being born in the formless realm, although it is because of being free from the harm of perceptions such as form, because they have the power to be born in all places freely, they do not claim it as their own. Because this contradicts the practice of keeping in mind the pāramitās and other dharmas that benefit oneself and others, the qualities of enlightenment and so on are taught. The so-called "change" means thinking that it would be bad if it changed. The so-called "distraction of tasting the flavor" is like someone who finds a treasure trove of jewels, does not generate attachment, and completely purifies relatives and friends, because out of compassion for beings, they abandon tasting the bliss of meditative absorption and enter the desire realm. For example, someone is mentioned, and so on. The so-called "not being attached" means not being attached to that treasure trove of jewels. Therefore, it is said like this, for example, someone finds a treasure trove of jewels, and does not merely generate attachment to it, but thinks that this is the cause of benefiting the retinue, and then takes it at another time, goes home, and without being attached himself, completely nurtures relatives and friends, and so on.

It is said like that. Things like "Thus" appear. "Joy and Bliss Giving" means giving joy and bliss to sentient beings, not being attached to those selves, that is its summary. The four peaceful samādhis refer to the four samādhis of the formless realm. Peaceful means being separated from one's own incompatible aspects. Samādhi means one-pointedness of mind. Having attained samādhi and concentration, whether in the nature of samādhi and the formless realm, the bliss that is solely or accomplished by it exists, it is called that. Abandoning means being attached to it. The rest is easy to understand. Distraction that arises from focusing on other places, even if one has attained samādhi etc., the Śrāvakas and Pratyekabuddhas strive for their own benefit, which becomes an obstacle to supreme Bodhi, because it is the characteristic of distraction. If etc. is mentioned. If arising means if one generates a mind that rejoices in the vehicle of Arhats and Pratyekabuddhas. Unequal abiding is because it contradicts the perfection of abandoning all aspects. A scattered mind is because it is not a suitable vessel for the perfection of all wisdom. The mind becomes distracted because it has not become a perfect vessel for benefiting others. Here it is said that the reason for severing the qualities of the Buddha is that focusing on the mind with inferiority is not itself a suitable vessel for perfect Bodhi, therefore it is the nature of complete severance. Like a boatman with a broken boat, it means that like a boatman with a broken boat, one cannot cross to the other shore of all the oceans of knowledge, that is its summary. Therefore, for Bodhisattvas, it is easy to be attached to the enjoyment of existence, to be distracted by attachment to objects, because this is not completely contrary to perfect Bodhi. Furthermore, etc. is mentioned. Arhats and Pratyekabuddhas are free from the vehicle, which means being free from the love of other ropes. If the Bodhi mind rejoices means if one definitely generates the mind of perfect Bodhi. Constant equal abiding means from the suitable vessel of the Buddha's own nature
