It is said. The so-called selflessness is because it is the nature of one's own selflessness, and it is not blessed by the self, and it is not a cause, because it is not suitable as the object of the blesser, and permanence is also because it is not a cause, just like what was said before. The so-called "Yama Brla" means that the cause is dominated by others. The so-called "that is nowhere to go" means that if it is regarded as a sentient being, stinginess is the main factor of the cause, and if there is no stinginess, then it is impossible to exist, that is what I think. The so-called "for those who have self-consciousness" and so on, it is said that if there is self-grasping, because of attachment to the self, they grasp the things that accomplish their own happiness as mine, and from this also arises attachment to it, for those who are ignorant of the mind, where will there be a permanent intention to abandon? Because the opposing party has strength, it overwhelms the other party extremely, that's what is said. Not seeing the fault of stinginess is because if there is stinginess, one cannot bear to accomplish begging and so on in a reversed way, so stinginess will arise. Its antidote is to realize that stinginess is discordant, because in this way all beggars will be regarded as virtuous friends, and because of being free from stinginess, one can correctly accomplish the giving of the limb of patience. It is said "stingy person" and so on. The so-called "stingy person" is a synonym for "having stinginess". The so-called "will be reborn in the place of hungry ghosts" means that they will be reborn, because the Vipaka of the lack of resources and so on is the realm of hungry ghosts. The so-called "will become poor" is the result of the same cause. The so-called "after knowing" means that in this way, because of the fault of stinginess, in the realm of humans and hungry ghosts, know those sentient beings who have become poor. The so-called "will have faith in giving" means from the aspect of behavior, because for all those who seek meaning, they will accomplish everything. The so-called "generous giving" means from the aspect of intention, because they are those who have the intention of giving that will not become an obstacle to all harm. Therefore, it is said "four continents" and so on, saliva.

English

The term "like ashes" means that, like the ashes of saliva, one is not attached to the continents adorned with jewels. The term "happy to give" means that one is happy to see those who strive to accomplish things after giving. Dedicating to other vehicles is because it contradicts the great diligence that is made for the benefit of oneself and others, and the intention of giving. The antidote to that is dedicating to supreme enlightenment, which will accomplish the perfection of giving, which is the nature of constant diligence, so the term Bodhisattva and so on are mentioned. The term "may this become giving" means thinking that by this giving, may all sentient beings belonging to the three realms obtain all flawless perfections, this is its summary. What to do after that? It says "that also" and so on, the accumulation of merit accumulated in that way is also dedicated to purify sentient beings, so that giving will not be exhausted, this is the remaining part. Seeking visible and invisible worldly enjoyment is because it contradicts the perfection of giving, which is the nature of the sole reliance on the thought of perfect enlightenment. To prevent that, it says "after giving" and so on. Abiding in things means seeking visible results. Vipaka means that the result of giving is related to the next life. The term "wise" means one who has wisdom, it is the summary of not being distracted from the thought of omniscient wisdom. The term "giving everything" means that the ripening of giving is also completely dedicated to sentient beings. The term "becomes many inconceivable" means that even a small object of giving, because of the great intention of giving, all flawless enjoyments and instruments will arise, so it is many. Because it will not be exhausted even in nirvana without aggregates, it is inconceivable, and the result will become a treasury of space and so on.

English

That's what he thought. Or, it is only the absence of any difference in thought in giving even small things that is the supreme perfection of giving, because merely contemplating with joy can overwhelm the merit arising from the giving of all the possessions of all sentient beings, which appear and accumulate at different times. "In the three realms," and so on, was mentioned. "Taking complete examination" means taking complete examination closely. Truly, for all sentient beings, such a form is impossible. The reason. Saying Buddha and so on is to show that the merit is greater because of the difference of the receiver. Saying "Shravaka seeks virtue" means that the difference of giving, motivated by seeking complete enlightenment, cannot be overcome, that's what he thought. Saying "skillful means" means that it is skillful because it can obtain a lot of merit etc. just by thinking without effort. Saying "object of merit" refers to something like what was just said. Saying "by complete dedication" means to completely dedicate, and the reason for completely dedicating there is that it is the basis of the Buddha's enlightenment. Saying "overwhelm" means it will overwhelm, and it is connected to "Bodhisattva." In order to illustrate with an example how rejoicing overwhelms merit, "wish-fulfilling jewel" and so on were mentioned. Therefore, it is said that, for example, even if the pile of wish-fulfilling jewels is very large, it will be overwhelmed by a single lapis lazuli jewel, because it is the cause of all perfect enjoyment etc. Similarly, the Bodhisattva's rejoicing can also overwhelm the accumulation of merit of beings, because it is the cause of all perfect benefit for oneself and others, that is what is said. To be perverse to the nature of Dharma, because it is the opposite side of the perfection of giving, which is of non-perverted nature. Its antidote is the realization of all dharmas as emptiness, which it shows.
