Extensive explanation. Extensive explanation. The Difficult Explanation of Omniscience. That Perfection of Wisdom is well explained by eight entities. Omniscience itself, the Wisdom of the Path, then the Omniscience. Complete Manifest Enlightenment, the Pinnacle Return and Gradual, Complete Enlightenment in a Single Instant. The Dharmakaya and those eight aspects. Thus it is said. Therein, the ultimate necessity of accomplishing wisdom is that it is the very nature of completely severing all aspects of cause and effect, such as generating the mind of enlightenment, therefore it is omniscience itself. Moreover, Generating the Mind and Instructions, The Four Limbs of Definite Distinction, Being the Basis for Accomplishment, The Nature of the Realm of Dharma, And the Objects, the Purpose, The Activity of Entering the Armor, The Accumulations with Definite Arising, All these are the Omniscience of the Sage. Thus it is said. Why is the Blessed One the Omniscience of the Thus-Gone, the Arhat, the Perfectly Complete Buddha? Subhuti, with what aspects, what signs, and what characteristics did the Thus-Gone comprehend those aspects, those signs, and those characteristics of the well-explained dharmas, therefore it is said that Omniscience is the merit of the Thus-Gone. Thus it is said. Therein, in order to show the generation of the mind of enlightenment through the gate of surpassing the hearers and other beings, it is said to be manifestly engaged for the benefit of beings. The benefit of beings is to attain the three enlightenments as appropriate. Therefore, it is manifest engagement, if one is engaged in virtuous dharmas such as generosity, then listen to the Perfection of Wisdom. Otherwise, without realizing all aspects of the Dharma, it is not proper to do things for others, so it is thought. Shariputra, here, if a Bodhisattva wishes to manifestly and completely awaken to all dharmas in all aspects, then he should strive in the Perfection of Wisdom, and so on, which is extensively explained. For those who strive for their own benefit, this Blessed Mother also produces the desired fruit.

Is it not a cause for regression? Like this, if one wishes to study the Hearer's Ground, one should also listen to this Perfection of Wisdom, etc. How is this called manifestly entering for the benefit of beings? Therefore, it is said that it is called the Perfection of Wisdom, meaning that the fruit of teaching the Perfection of Wisdom is primarily the complete and manifest realization of all aspects of enlightenment, and this is only for Bodhisattvas, because for others, there is no opportunity to manifestly and completely realize the fruit of enlightenment. How is this Perfection of Wisdom only for Bodhisattvas? What is particularly superior? It is said, "Where the heroes act," meaning that "where" refers to the Perfection of Wisdom. "Acting" refers to entering with the distinction of the ground and the habituation of the perfections. "Heroes" refers to Bodhisattvas, because they are not overcome by demons and the like. It means that where the sons of the Sugata enter is their uncommon path, and that is the nature of the Perfection of Wisdom, because the other perfections are contained within it, and it will be explained in that way. In another way, the Perfection of Wisdom in which the Bodhisattvas act should be understood as being their uncommonness, and that is the object of experience of the aspect of selflessness of all beings. It is not merely the object of experience of the aspect of impermanence and the like, but it is thought to be the nature that is adorned like the Perfection of Wisdom. The statement "If one wishes to study the Hearer's Ground, one should also..." is to declare that this path of the Bodhisattva itself is the cause of completely cutting off all enlightenment, and therefore its great nature is declared. Some say that in the stage of enlightenment of Hearers and the like, the Perfection of Wisdom should be regarded as being separated from skillful means such as great compassion, for Hearers.

The cause of etc. is that believing in the selflessness of all phenomena is solely due to being separated from the perfection of means. In any case, one should train in this very perfection of wisdom. The statement that there is no difference is because here it only relies on believing in the selflessness of all phenomena. The bodhisattvas' attention to suchness is different from the attention of the hearers because it is held by the supreme means, so it is said. If the path of the bodhisattvas is not common with the hearers, etc., then how do venerable Subhuti, etc., enter into the precepts for bodhisattvas? Not seeing the suchness of the precepts, they are mostly unable to tolerate making precepts without fault. If it were not so, then the fully enlightened Buddhas and the hearers would have no difference in doing things for the benefit of others. In order to dispel it, it is said, "How many rivers are there in this Jambudvipa," etc. How many means how many there are. The rivers are the four: Ganga, Vakshu, Sindhu, and Sita. They all originate from Anavatapta (མ་དྲོས་པ།), the unheated lake. Flowing means flowing continuously. What do they do? It says "flowers" etc. Which are the medicines and forests with abundant flowers and fruits, those are the ones that produce them, the producers mean to grow and accomplish. What do they rely on? It says dragon king etc. It is said that because the dragon king, the lord of the dragons, Anavatapta (མ་དྲོས་པ།), relies on it, those rivers flow, therefore that is the power of the dragon king himself, which is the perfection of power. It will be explained as such. Similarly, like "How many of the Buddha's hearers teach the Dharma, etc." The Buddha's hearers refer to Subhuti, etc. Dharma is the characteristic of showing the similar cause of one's own realization. Teaching is through the way of showing. Explaining is through the way of telling. Speaking is through the way of determining it. What is said about reasoning etc. is observation.
