The earth and so on arise. 'Generating the mind' refers to the mind generated for the enlightenment of solitary realizers and arhats. Because this completely destroys the perfect enlightenment that benefits oneself and others. Therefore, know that it is even heavier than falling into a defeat. A defeat is not a cause of such destruction, because its intention is not eternally fallen. When a downfall occurs, whoever it may be, most will think: I must make this error always continue. One should not think like this, because the practice of desire and so on is the only cause of ruin, and one should not be happy about it. Therefore, since it is not always the case, and it does not contradict the mind of perfect enlightenment, a defeat is not a dharma that bodhisattvas should eternally cut off, just as they desire the lesser vehicle. This is because it contradicts the intention of seeking the fearless fruit, the fruit of unsurpassed wisdom whose essence is to benefit others. That is why it is said to guard the precepts and so on. 'Complete dedication' means that if one completely dedicates, then the precepts will become extremely perfect. To be arrogant with the merits of the precepts is incompatible with the precepts of abiding. If the mind is destroyed by arrogance, one will not be able to perfectly practice the precepts of abiding. Its antidote is to destroy arrogance, and to show this, 'by this' and so on are said. 'By this' refers to the precepts just mentioned. 'Without arrogance' means without contempt, which is superfluous for others. Because seeing people and so on as entities is contrary to the precepts of wisdom. To refute this, 'my thought' and so on are said. 'My thought' refers to the thought of 'I'. The thought of sentient beings refers to other continuums.

It is the manifest clinging to leaks and aggregates, etc. Having different perceptions is the nature of perversion, so it is not the ultimate discipline. Therefore, it is said, "If," and so on. What is called extreme moral corruption is because it establishes the perception of non-worthiness in sentient beings and is endowed with the perversion of self and other. Because of what reason is it so, therefore it is said, "To whom is mine," and so on. What is called perception free from attachment means that for whom, for perception free from attachment and without manifest clinging, how can there be thirst? Because its root is in perception, it is thought to be so. What is called the vow of discipline is the understanding that there is no difference between discipline and other dharmas, so it is the ultimate discipline. Similarly, for the previous ones, the differences of the incompatible aspects should be combined according to the circumstances, through the detailed classification of each of the perfections. The incompatible aspects of the perfection of discipline, the decline, have been explained. Next, giving is to be spoken of. Here too, as before, there are six kinds of incompatible aspects of the distinctions of giving, such as giving of giving. The nature of the mind with views is the opposite of giving things. Its antidote is not to look at pleasing and displeasing things, because if that is the case, it is possible to completely abandon internal and external things. "Sentient beings are pure," and so on, are said, and through this order of explanation, it shows that the previous perfections are the cause of the purity of the later purity. What is called without view is synonymous with not looking. The rest is easy to understand. Grasping at the person is because it is the reason for the arising of stinginess, and the nature of things becomes an obstacle to the giving of discipline. Its antidote is to realize that one's own mind, etc., is the nature of selflessness, thereby abandoning the evil discipline of the nature of stinginess, thereby truly accomplishing the giving of the nature of discipline. "All dharmas," and so on, are said
