Because it is completely perfect, it does not manifest the true limit, so it is thought that one does not study for this purpose. Here, wrong practice is to engage in all aspects that are incompatible with the pāramitās, because if this exists, the immediate nature of complete enlightenment is unreasonable. In order to contemplate this meaning, the self-nature of generosity and other perfections, which possess excellent wisdom, is shown to be free from their respective incompatible aspects. The wisdom of the promiscuous is that because the land is controlled by others, the lazy cannot tolerate all virtuous deeds, and because they are bound by evil thoughts, they do not allow others to benefit from the Dharma and wealth. Among them, there are five incompatible aspects of the dhyāna pāramitā. To counteract the distraction of signs, it is said that this is, etc. Qualities, etc., are bodhisattvas, who, in terms of their own and others' benefit, truly accomplish the qualities of dhyāna in all aspects. Wonder is because of the perfection of the cause. Wonderful is because the result is uncommon. A sign is the arising of conceptual thoughts such as 'I am in samadhi.' The absence of this is because wisdom purifies the three wheels of that dhyāna. In order to abandon the other-powered distraction of maturation, even though one has attained dhyāna, one enters the desire realm out of compassion for the world. Among them, it is said that there are abodes, etc. Among them, it is said that there are abodes, etc., which are those who abide in dhyāna, etc., while others are born in the desire realm because their nature is exhausted, and there is no wonder in this. 'If the body is destroyed' means 'how is the body that has attained dhyāna destroyed?' 'As one thinks' means that although one is free from desire for the desire realm, one does not contradict the thought of taking birth because one has made a vow for the benefit of others. In order to dispel the distraction of complete deterioration, one is first born in the unpleasant sounds of the south and north.

Just as one is born for the sake of Jambudvipa, although Bodhisattvas are born in the desire realm, they do not become attached to those places because they do not lose the samadhi they have attained. For example, it is said, like "for example" and so on. "Will not obtain" means that they will not be born without gods, nor will they become born in the harsh sounds of the north, but they have previously become gods, this is their thought. Then, "the object of complete grasping" means the realm associated with the harsh sounds of the south and north, which seems very pleasant. "Having seen" means having experienced. "If they come here again" means if they come to this Jambudvipa again. "Attachment" is manifest attachment. Connect it with "do not do that." Their thought is that the realms of Jambudvipa are inferior in comparison to the perfection of the realms of harsh sounds of the south and north. "Likewise" means similar to that. "Diligent yoga" means the mind is not distracted. "Without attachment" means not defiled by the craving for samsara. To illustrate this, it is said, "lotus in water" and so on. For example, although a lotus grows from water, it is not attached to water, similarly, although Bodhisattvas are born in the desire realm, they are not defiled by samsara, this is their thought. Then, why are they born there? It is said, "Great beings" and so on. "Great beings" refers to Bodhisattvas, connect it with "again abiding in the desire realm." "Merely to ripen sentient beings" means that when sentient beings to be tamed are born with the same karma, it is solely for the purpose of fully ripening their actions. "Purifying the field" means that in order to purify the vessel world, after seeing discordant things such as stones and thorns in the desire realm, they create a collection of merit in order to separate them from those things. "Perfection" means that it is also for the sake of completely perfecting these perfections. Ripening sentient beings is the cause of perfecting the accumulations, because Bodhisattvas

They cause others to fully mature, and they will also perfect their own Buddha Dharma, which is what is said. The birth in the formless realm, although it is a treasure because it is free from the harm of perceptions such as form, they do not take it as their own because they have dominion over birth in all forms. Because this is contrary to the practice of perfections and other dharmas that are in accordance with the benefit of oneself and others, they have spoken of the qualities of enlightenment and so on. The term "will change" means "thinking that it would be bad if it changed." The distraction of tasting flavors is like someone who finds a treasure trove of jewels, but is not attached and completely purifies their relatives, because they abandon the taste of the bliss of meditation and enter the desire realm with compassion. Therefore, the example of "a person" and so on is mentioned. The term "not attached" means not being attached to that treasure trove of jewels. Therefore, it is said like this: "For example, someone finds a treasure trove of jewels and does not only develop attachment to it, but thinks, 'This is the cause for benefiting beings,' and then takes it at another time, goes home, and without being attached himself, completely supports his relatives, just like that." "Likewise" and so on will appear. "Giving joy and bliss" means giving joy and bliss to sentient beings, but not being attached to those joys and bliss, which is a summary statement. The term "four peaceful samadhis" refers to the four samadhis of the formless realm. The term "peaceful" means being free from one's own incompatible aspects. The term "meditation" means one-pointedness of mind. Having attained meditation and samadhi, whatever has that itself or the bliss to be accomplished by it in the characteristics of meditation and the formless realm, is called that. The term "abandoning" means being attached to it.
