Ma. Even so, mere utterance is not an antidote, so it would be a fault that the incompatible and the antidotes would become without decrease or increase. Therefore, it is said, "spoken by the Buddha," etc. "Speaking" refers to the way of teaching through the sutras. "Well combined" refers to the way of explaining in detail. "Well shown" refers to the way of dispelling doubts. Saying "hundreds of thousands of kalpas," etc., is to show well that even if the habituation of non-antidotes has been going on for a long time, it is meaningless. Similarly, the Dharma such as the Paramitas are also not antidotes, because they are also the nature of discrimination at the time of practice. Therefore, it is said, "the Buddhas," etc. To answer it, it is said, "dedication," etc., meaning that in this way, the dedication itself that transcends all arrogance is the cause of the arising of the state of non-discrimination, that is the thought. The dedication that is distinguished by the initial generation of the mind is not the cause of enlightenment, because it has ceased at that time and has been going on for a long time. It is also not the characteristic of the uninterrupted path, because the initial mind, etc., would become meaningless. They are also not an aggregate, because they arise in sequence, and because they are not permanent, there is no simultaneity. If you say so, then in order to answer with the analogy of burning mustard seeds, it is said, "mustard seeds," etc. Saying mustard seeds is to understand the order of burning, because if it is something else, it may burn quickly, and the order would be difficult to determine. The idea here is that, for example, merely the initial contact with the flame does not completely burn the mustard seeds, and if there is no initial, etc., then there will be no later, so merely the later is also not, similarly the order of generating the mind of enlightenment is also the same. To show it, it is said, "with the initial mind," etc., the initial mind is that which is gathered by aspiration and conduct. Peace refers to enlightenment, to be combined with the context. "Arising" refers to the sprout.

Just as grains and the like arise successively from one another, that is the meaning of "and then." The so-called "and then" is the word for the seed and then. It's not like there are no trees, because branches and the like do not grow after the seed. The so-called "cause" is the acting cause, and the so-called "eighth" is the remainder. That is because it has the same compassion, so it is like a solid seed. The so-called "when it ceases" means that at the time of the second moment, the moment of the mind ceases first. The so-called "not that which is not" means that cessation is not even present at other times, so Bodhi is not that, and that is the intention. Gradually, the previous moments of the mind are the cause of perfecting the accumulation, so like a drop of water filling a vase, it is the cause of Bodhi. Therefore, it is said that water droplets, etc. The so-called "water droplets" are water droplets. The so-called "gradually" is the word for gradually. The so-called "that" is connected to the vase. By the power of skillful means, it is the supreme cause of Bodhi, because it is like water in the matter of perfecting the accumulation. Therefore, familiarizing oneself with the profound Dharma is the cause of perfect Buddhahood, so it is a supreme sign of irreversibility. The various distinctions of irreversibility have been explained. They must also learn non-abiding Nirvana, so the equality of Samsara and Nirvana is the origin of emptiness and so on. Nirvana is the decline of the mind that benefits beings. Signs are clinging and so on. Here, metaphors such as these are mentioned. Similarly, Bodhisattvas also abide without attachment to the states of the world and beyond, like the shores of this and that side of the ocean, because they are of one taste in emptiness. That is the intention. Acting in this way is to view non-self. The absence of pride is because all defilements and purifications are understood to be without difference.

English

The term "without anything" means realizing the absence of difference, hence being fearless towards Bodhi. Truly speaking, only realizing equality is without difference. Thus, in equality, purifying the Buddha-field refers to seeing places of sorrowful solitude and harmful thoughts, etc., in the vessel and sentient realms, in order to purify them, to wear the armor reaching the edge of the future, and also without weariness. The so-called "path of the solitary world," etc., will arise. The term "constantly diligent" means constantly entering into the perfections. The term "having known" means viewing solitary places, etc., as illusions. The purification of the Buddha-field has been explained. It is also the result of possessing skillful means, hence being skilled in means, its object is emptiness. Its application is to have compassion as a guide, contemplating beings with wisdom, therefore the so-called "Bodhisattva," etc., will arise. The term "not dwelling equally" refers to the stages of conclusion and application. The term "never failing" means not falling into samsara and nirvana due to wisdom and compassion. That skillful means also has twelve aspects, the means of truly transcending from obstacles, like a skilled artisan, entering with love focusing on the realm of beings, truly transcending from obstacles such as demons. For example, the activity of "a man," etc. The term "diligently done" means habituated. The term "accomplishing illusion" means showing many retinues even when alone. The term "extremely desiring to benefit others" means that those without compassion, even if capable, do not engage in saving others. The term "that" refers to the man as previously mentioned. The term "all" refers to everything, connected to "the realm of beings." The term "from the two grounds" refers to the grounds of Hearers and Solitary Buddhas, connected to "after surpassing." The term "not attending to Bodhi" means thinking that one has not yet completed the accumulation of merit, or that one has no attachment to it. Thus contemplating. The uncommon skillful means is the power of leading beings' karma.
