Because it has already been explained. The term "in between" refers to the phrase denoting the period between the initial generation of Bodhicitta and the time when the sacred Dharma declines. What is the nature of that merit? It is explained by saying "gone beyond" and so forth. It is intended to mean that the essence of going beyond is encompassed by the causal state, and the essence of the Buddha's Dharma, the perfection of self and others, is distinguished by the result. The term "whatever" is connected to "merit." The term "Buddha's sons" refers to the defiled virtues of the Buddha's sons, because others are explained by the distinctions of learning and so forth. The term "undefiled" refers to the remaining part, such as "whatever Dharma." The term "in brief" means that having summarized with wisdom, one draws from within "that merit." The term "for Bodhi" means for that purpose. The term "dedication" means to completely dedicate. The term "thus dedicate" means to completely dedicate. If attachment arises in the mind, it is attachment to clinging to the mind of dedication and so forth, and the meaning of attachment is to understand everything in the same way. If there is attachment, what fault is there? It is said "because of attachment" and so forth. The term "place of view" refers to being manifestly attached to the view of the aggregates of destruction. Like this, the mind It is attachment to the three attachments of the nature of the three attachments previously mentioned. Even so, because it does not include complete dedication, it is said "because there is an object" and so forth. Complete dedication is the arising of a mind that is capable of becoming perfect Buddhahood, relying on previously accumulated virtues. It is intended to mean that the fabricated mind is incompatible with this. Non-objectification means non-perversion, so it is a non-perverted dedication. Moreover, if one clings to self in a non-perverted way through momentary individual discriminations, then "if" and so forth are said. The term "initially" refers to Bodhi. It means that if one does not make discrimination an object, it is impossible to dedicate to Bodhi, and there discrimination

Because obstacles also exist from an early time, if that were the case, if it truly existed, then the Bodhi that is its object would also be destroyed, because it is no different from it. That is what is said. In terms of not reversing the Dharma, it is said, "Dharma," and so on. It is thought that all dharmas are not mutually grasped, and if they truly exist, it is because they are unborn. Therefore, it is extensively said, "Dharma cannot know Dharma." Non-reversal also has the characteristic of not taking the unborn as a sign, therefore, the dedication without signs is what appears as "if," and so on. The sign of Dharma is also like eating delicious food mixed with poison, which ultimately causes harm. Therefore, it is said, "like poison," and so on. Therefore, only the complete dedication given by the Victorious One is the most supreme, that is, the dedication given by the Buddha, that is, it is said, "That is how it is," and so on. "How" means how to rejoice and completely dedicate as the Victorious One knows. Understand "that" as "that goodness." In order to show that completely knowing that is also from the perspective of form, cause, and characteristics, it is said, "What is form," and so on. "That way" means that if it is done that way, it is the cause of not abandoning the Buddha. Saying "Speak what the Victorious One has said" means because it has the complete dedication given by him. Therefore, since the accumulation of merit is unparalleled, the dedication of great merit, that is, the fifth dedication, is said, "Dedicate completely like that," and so on. "All" means all things with an object. The rest is easy to understand. The path of pure worldly meditation has been explained. The transcendental path is of two kinds, namely, through the distinction of practice and completely pure realization. Among them, the first realization is for the sake of attaining omniscience by becoming the eye of all perfections, and practicing the Perfection of Wisdom. That is, it is said, "blind person," and so on. Saying blind person is
