Thus, "non-existence" and so forth are spoken of. Form and so forth are truly encompassed by the truths of suffering and origin. The meaning of encompassed is that, for that Bodhisattva, at the time of reliance, what appears as form and so forth is merely the aspect of mind, and the form of particles and so forth also possesses aspects such as impermanence, but the object of focus, even a particle, is not present or does not appear. This is indeed true, because it is unreasonable through the means of reason and scripture. Form and so forth are devoid of the nature of one and many. Thus, they appear as the nature of many limbs with distinctions such as beginning, middle, and end, and apart from that, even a single entity possessing limbs and so forth is not seen, so it is not a single nature. However, if there is focus, then because the single entity abides only in its own essence apart from many limbs, the nature of multiplicity is not diminished. The many that appear as natures that do not intermingle with each other should not become one, because it would be too extreme, and if one changes, then everything changes. Even through the means of inference, it is not established as one, because blue and so forth appear as the nature of mutually distinct limbs, so its oneness is obstructed by direct perception. If one considers that an entity possessing limbs that is distinct from the limbs is thoroughly established, then it has already been shown that the nature of multiplicity is not diminished. Because fire entering the mountainside is thoroughly established by inference, the nature of the mountain is not apparent as non-existent, because it appears as a form that is not that. There is not even a little sign of the connection with the non-manifest possessor of limbs being thoroughly established, and also without understanding the connection between the sign and the signified, inference is not allowed, so the nature of the mountain is not apparent, because it also enters into those that appear as forms that are not that, so it is mistaken. The reason for its arising is also those very blue and so forth, because upon seeing that itself, a cognition that is not different arises, and also because one sees a single entity that is different from that. If it is said that blue and so forth are an accumulation of particles,

It is not like that. Because no conceptualization arises regarding the nature of indivisible atoms. When blue and so forth appear, not even a little of the form of indivisible atoms is perceived, because it is known that blue and so forth appear as coarse natures. If it is said that the coarse is preceded by the accumulation of the subtle, therefore if the coarse is established, then the atom is also established. It is not like that, because no conceptualization arises regarding the connection between atoms and the coarse. If the atom is established, then the coarse, which is the nature of its accumulation, will be extremely established, otherwise it is not so. Also, because accumulation is not established for those without limbs. If the atoms residing in different directions and places are accumulated in relation to the atom residing in the center, then it is not reasonable because it is impossible for indivisible atoms to have different directions and places. If the direction and place are the same, then all the atoms are absorbed into one atom, therefore there can be no seeing of blue and so forth, then what need is there to mention the arising of other functions from the distinct determination of the coarse form? Because seeing and function are extremely established, but the atom is not apprehended by the senses, and also the function of obscuration and so forth is extremely not established. Apart from one and many, by what means can blue and so forth exist as things? There is no other form of existence, because these two are mutually contradictory and are the characteristics that distinguish other forms. Thus, if it does not possess the characteristics of the form aggregate, then it should be known that feeling and so forth, which depend on it, are also devoid of characteristics, because mind and mental factors appear as blue and so forth, and as previously stated in order, they are also devoid of the form of one and many. Thus, after eliminating the place of the nature of form and so forth, in order to eliminate the place of the nature of suchness and so forth, which is included in the truth of cessation, "that" and so forth are proclaimed. "That" refers to the Bodhisattva. The so-called "not abiding in all dharmas" means that there is no manifest attachment to all the dharmas of the nature of suchness and so forth. In reality, those are also not proclaimed.
