Now, wisdom is the antidote to all, because it has the realm of suchness as its object. Because, without the non-apprehension of the three spheres, generosity and so on cannot eliminate the conceptualization that causes stinginess and so on to arise. For that very reason, the term "perfection" is not applied to them. Generosity and so on, which are well distinguished by noble wisdom, can be fully based on the term "perfection" even in a single moment. Because they are the nature of the perfections, and because they reverse all discordant factors. For example, the single moment of the mind of generosity is discipline because of loving-kindness towards sentient beings. With the nature of patience, such as scolding the recipient, it is patience. Because of the joy of protecting beings, it is diligence. Because there is no distraction of focusing on other enlightenment, it is meditation. Because of individually discriminating illusions and so on, it is wisdom. Similarly, the moment of the mind of discipline and so on should also be applied. As it is said in the Perfection of Wisdom Sutra: "Subhuti, when a Bodhisattva practices generosity, the actions of loving-kindness of body, speech, and mind will abide closely." And so on, "Thus abiding in the perfection of generosity, all six perfections will be completely fulfilled." This shows that the path of seeing is a single moment. It should be understood that because in just one moment of mind, all the qualities of the perfections are manifested. If so, then only in the state of extreme joy, all the perfections are purified, then are the other grounds meaningless? Indeed, because all the grounds are of one nature, there is no difference compared to the transcendental state. Some of the qualities of the pure mundane state are to be accomplished by a moment of seeing, and some are to be accomplished by cultivation. The distinction of the grounds is also dependent on this, so there is no fault. How does the path of cultivation, which is the nature of habituating seeing, arise from the path of seeing with such characteristics? That also manifests in the state of equipoise.

It should be understood that this is the characteristic of not being attached to things. Even if one abides in meditation and so on, one does not abide in it because of the power of seeing Suchness. "Great power" and so on are mentioned. "Great power" means being able to abide by the first dhyana and so on in accordance with the order of conformity with the law. Among them, the first dhyana is the antidote to the desire realm, which is the single-pointed virtue. The second is the antidote to behavior. The third is the antidote to mental happiness. The fourth is the antidote to happiness. These four dhyanas, as well as the formless realm of infinite space and so on, and the cessation attainment. Subhuti, the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva is like this, separated from desires, separated from sinful and unwholesome dharmas, with initial and sustained application, possessing joy and bliss born of separation, accomplishing and abiding in the first dhyana. Similarly, accomplishing and abiding in the cessation of perception and feeling. Having arisen from that cessation attainment, one enters into the attainment of the sphere of neither perception nor non-perception, and so on, as explained extensively. Sixth fascicle. "Reliance" means discriminating the object to be grasped. "Abiding" means discriminating the grasper, and not doing so is because the path of cultivation is the antidote to all forms of discrimination. In this way, if the dhyana that arises from non-discrimination has already been freed from desire, then what is the need to abide in it? To explain this, "However" and so on are said. "Dhyana-perception" means that dhyanas are merely characterized by perception. Some say "dhyana with limbs," where it seems that because one abides in a state with limbs such as delight, it is said to be dhyana with limbs. Therefore, it would be explained that even though one is in a state of non-discrimination, one still abides in dhyana and so on, because one must accomplish perfect enlightenment through this kind of generation of bodhicitta.
