Connect them. The term "like" means similar. Because conspicuous increase is attained through diligence, just as all classifications of views are contained within the view of the aggregates of decay, so too, because all perfections are contained within the training of higher wisdom. Therefore, the term "Prajnaparamita" and so forth arise. Here, "contained" means that wisdom is the cause for accomplishing the other perfections, and because it reverses the six opposing factors such as stinginess. The term "two" refers to the sixty-two root views, which should be understood by following the Brahma-jala Sutra. The term "contained" is connected with "within the view of the aggregates of decay," because all views are supremely viewed as self. It is like other faculties being contained within the life faculty, therefore, "for example" and so forth are mentioned. The term "cease" means to cease, because the cause for the continuity of the aggregates such as the eye is the life faculty, and since it does not exist, being contained within it, the nature of the powers such as the eye faculty cannot arise. The term "said to be contained" means that similarly, if there is no wisdom based on the stainless mind, then the perfection of generosity and so forth, which depend on it, will cease. Therefore, all these perfections endowed with the practice of wisdom are said to be contained only within it, which is the conclusion. Conspicuous increase has been explained. The teaching here is that, through skillful means, in order to benefit such beings, I think that what I need to learn is only this, so even if I correctly learn all the qualities of the Hearers and so forth, I do not fixate on them or rejoice in them. Therefore, "Bodhi mind skillful" and so forth arise. The term "that" refers to the qualities of the Hearers and so forth. The term "abiding" refers to the object, connected with "without," because they also correctly realize selflessness. The term "not generated" means not generating, because of great compassion being under the control of others.

It is thought, "What is the reason for this?" Thus, if the teaching of the nature of non-retrogression is shown to be excellent, then the generation of non-retrogressive mind, which is closely held by samadhi, is the supreme source of merit for those who rejoice in others. Therefore, it is said, "non-retrogressive," and so on. "Measured by a scale" means measured by a scale. "Measurable" means that it can be measured. This is said to mean that although the measure of all the Mount Merus that exist in the immeasurable realms of the world can be known by weighing them on a scale, the accumulation of merit that comes from rejoicing in the path is not like that. Why? It is said, "Seeking virtue," and so on. If one rejoices in the generation of non-retrogressive mind, then one rejoices in the accumulation of merit of all those who desire liberation. This is the concluding statement. The liberation of beings arises from the teachings of the perfect Buddha, and the perfect Buddha also depends on the generation of non-retrogressive mind. Therefore, rejoicing in that is rejoicing in the merit of all beings. Therefore, it is said, "For that reason," and so on. "For that reason" means for the sake of liberation, which is the nature of the perfection of wisdom. In some texts, "Why?" appears, which should be understood as a question, "Why?" "Those" means those who do not regress. "In order to end suffering" means in order to abandon afflictions together with their imprints, for otherwise suffering would not end. Thus, from the increase of wisdom that has attained samadhi, a state that is in accordance with the aspect of discernment necessarily arises, and as an antidote to conceptualization, the nature of the path of seeing, which is the most excellent, arises. That conceptualization is also the conceptualization of the apprehended and the apprehender, and since each of these has two aspects, there are four aspects. Among these, the conceptualization of the apprehended relies on all aspects of engagement, and as an antidote to that, the conceptualization of the nature of the dharmas such as the generation of mind.
