Due to constantly practicing cleanliness, and through the power of merit, without stinginess towards the Dharma, etc., therefore wearing simple clothes; since there are no faults in bodily actions, etc., therefore the three doors of body, speech, and mind are solitary and pure; since the qualities of cultivation can fully accept the purity without defilements, therefore not craving for gain, etc.; if there is no distraction of clinging, one will not be disturbed by the opposing factors of the perfections, therefore it is a supreme group; constantly desiring the Dharma; since one will not be turned away from Bodhi by demons, etc., therefore not fearing others. These qualities should be appropriately applied in states such as warmth. Since the sixteen are the states of the path of seeing, therefore "the four dhyanas," etc., are proclaimed, and in order to remember the four dhyanas, one is not distracted; there is no reversal of the aspects of suffering, and because one does not abide in meditation, there is no weariness; since one realizes all dharmas as emptiness, therefore not craving for fame; since one understands that all objects of torment are selfless, therefore there is no hatred; skillful in means, even without samsara, out of compassion for sentient beings, in order to be in harmony with them, one shows the appearance of being in a household, therefore not clinging to things; not acquiring wealth through base means for the sake of survival, therefore living purely; not engaging in violent behavior with an afflicted mind; since one does not engage in actions such as those related to women, therefore the actions of the body are sacred; since one has abandoned showing "will become a boy" or "will become a girl," etc., therefore pure actions are not afflicted; since one realizes that all things are by nature Nirvana, therefore diligently striving for solitary wisdom; since one understands that nature is peaceful, therefore being free from fighting, etc.; since one also has the intention to accomplish excellent Dharma for other beings, therefore showing loving-kindness; since one knows that only this is the true liberation, therefore not desiring other Bodhi, but desiring omniscience, and dedicating oneself to his teachings; since one has abandoned border areas, etc., therefore having power over rebirth.

And, by realizing the Dharma with reason, in order to ascertain oneself as irreversible, one has no doubt in oneself, and one's realization is like Mount Sumeru, in order to be immovable, if one realizes that "only this is the definite way out," therefore one is even willing to give up one's life, this is because of the love for the supreme Dharma. These are the patience and wisdom of each truth, and should be observed through the gate of aspects such as impermanence that are in accordance with them. Those who abide in the path of meditation, how do they become accustomed to seeing the profound Dharma? Therefore, "form" and so on are mentioned. "Signless" means that there is no sign in its own nature that can become form, and so on. "Peaceful" refers to the nature of emptiness and wishlessness, therefore it is considered profound. For example, with arrows, etc., like the bottom of the ocean, as it is said, not finding the bottom of the aggregates of wisdom, etc., one should know that these are irreversible, as it is said. In order to show that the question of this merit is the precursor, "which Bodhisattva" and so on are spoken. "Profound" means difficult to measure. "Vehicle" refers to the path of Bodhi. "Ultimate" refers to the realm of supreme wisdom. "Undefiled" refers to self-purification. Moreover, in order to show the selflessness of Dharma, therefore "to what" and so on are mentioned. "To what" should be connected as "to what Dharma." In order to show the measure of merit, "for example" and so on are spoken. The example of a man subsequently being attached is to show that he made an appointment to meet a woman and had many discriminations about it. The so-called "will obtain" refers to the concluding words that with a moment of wisdom attention, one can manifest the merit that needs to be accomplished in such eons. The practice of the profound Dharma also has small, medium, and large distinctions. Among them, small refers to other supreme things such as giving.
