It is thought, "Where was it sown?" The nature of great abandonment is because it cuts off all aspects of seeing the self, etc., of the realm of sentient beings, for the gods are permanent, etc. The nature of great realization is the characteristic of being in accordance with the aspect of definite distinction, etc. Although it is not explicitly stated, it should be understood implicitly, because without the distinction of realization, it is unreasonable to abandon the afflictions of all beings. Such is for the sake of accomplishment, because accomplishment is for the sake of entering the nature of greatness as previously stated. If that is the case, then would it not follow that the purpose is not different from the object? That is not so, because the object is to distinguish and establish its object as a thing at the same time as the accomplishment, while the purpose is the nature of the state in which its fruit will arise. That accomplishment is also of four kinds: the accomplishment of armor, the accomplishment of entering, the accomplishment of accumulation, and the accomplishment of definite emergence. Among them, armor is to be understood as six kinds: the armor of generosity pāramitā is what is said to be "great giving," because it has the intention of giving up all aspects of external and internal things. The armor of morality pāramitā is called "great intelligence," because intelligence becomes vast by the very thought of counteracting immoral morality based on oneself and others. The armor of the four, such as patience pāramitā, is called "great power," because it has the intention of not being overwhelmed by others' harm, difficulties, distractions, and disbelief in them. The nature of the accomplishment of entering, the nature of union, is what arises as "the purpose of the Great Vehicle," etc. The Great Vehicle is the path of the Bodhisattva, with its fruit, which is the nature of generating the mind of enlightenment, etc., as previously stated. Entering it means doing the act of joining with it. Having done the joining in this way, it makes the accumulation complete, therefore it is said that the accumulation of tranquility has been divided into great armor.

Moreover, it is thought that because one has a mind that is not disturbed by all distractions, one has donned great armor. To show the power of that, "of the demons," etc., are mentioned. Because one possesses a one-pointed mind, one is able to subdue all demons. Therefore, a Bodhisattva is designated as a great hero. Therefore, "great hero," etc., are mentioned. How can it be reversed and confused? "Magician," etc., are mentioned. "Magician," etc., are to show that there is no universal delusion regarding those emanations. "Four crossroads" is mentioned to show that it is the very cause of many sentient beings' universal delusion. "What are those to be killed?" is the expression for "how are those to be killed that are made by illusion?" "All beings" is to be connected as "know that beings are similar to emanations." As it is said, just as only a magician knows that what is made by illusion is merely a delusion, and because of universal delusion about it, other beings do not, so only one who abides in the Bodhisattva's perfection of generosity knows that all beings, such as those to be given to, are like emanations. This is said to be the uncommon collection of the Bodhisattva's superior insight. If all beings are merely delusions, then how does the Bodhisattva enter in order to liberate them from bondage? "Form," etc., are mentioned. Why is that? Because "is not existent" is mentioned, meaning that in the manner described above, bondage and liberation are not appropriate for what does not exist. Then how will enlightenment be attained? "Thus," etc., are mentioned. "Thus" is the expression for wisdom with the characteristic of individual discernment, like what was just said. "Without a timid mind" means that by the power of great compassion, there is no attachment to the enlightenment of Hearers, etc. This is a collection of union. To show the greatness of this very nature, "armor," etc., are mentioned. Bodhisattva
