No. In order to eliminate through two ways, namely, the appearance of holding "I" and so on as merely imputed, and the clinging to the thought that things are real, therefore it is said "free from various perceptions" and so on. The various perceptions are the imputation of "I" and so on as many aspects, that is, being free from them. If there is no object to be grasped, then grasping it is not reasonable, therefore, even to that extent, the appearance of grasping is manifested. As it is said: "Mind is the only support, external objects have no nature, thus viewing that nature, one should cultivate only the mind." This is what is said. Therefore, because there is no perversion, one practices peacefully. The remaining part is easy to understand. Therefore, this, by merely showing that the aggregates are merely confused, explains the nature of other-dependence. Similarly, it should be reasoned for others as well. All that relies on worldly conventions and is explained from the aspect of things is the completely imputed. If someone asks, wouldn't one be afraid of the exposition of such difficult-to-believe wisdom? Therefore, it is said "having virtuous friends" and so on. This explains that there is no fear due to two reasons: relying on the power of the support, because one has virtuous friends; relying on the power of one's own knowledge, because one has insight. A person with shallow wisdom, even if he meets a virtuous friend, will not have the slightest increase in meaning. On the contrary, it is the cause of fear. It is said "having evil friends" and so on. Relying on others is because of shallow wisdom. Precisely because of this, one will be gathered by others. Just as a container that is not sealed will be damaged by contact with water. It must be understood that in all cases that are in accordance with the division of ascertainment, one should fully accept what is said. If there are no persons and so on, then how are the names "this is, from this is, Bodhisattva, Bodhisattva" and so on established? Therefore, it is said "why" and so on. Or, the word "why" means abandonment, therefore, if there is no form and so on, then this name is without cause. Entering into the conventional is the only meaning that should be strived for.

Indeed, it is so. As stated in the "Rāva," the meaning of the word Bodhisattva is the absence of meaning, etc., which has been extensively explained. To specifically show the reason for this term, "for all" etc. is mentioned. The exhaustion of attachment to all things such as form is the abandonment of discrimination. Why is it considered so? Because it is the means of cutting off attachment and has the nature of eliminating all discriminations. Therefore, this can be considered the reason for obtaining the name Bodhisattva. Thus, although it is similar to being separated from the aspects of grasping aggregates etc., for the continuum of aggregates that are spoken and will be spoken, being in accordance with the decisive part etc., practice gradually becomes the cause of abandoning all obscurations, and that alone is the object to which the name Bodhisattva is applied, and not others. Therefore, this explains the basis of practice, the nature of the Dharma realm's lineage. To show that the special occasion of being in accordance with the decisive part etc. is thoroughly distinguished by the lineage of Bodhisattvas. To show the goal of practice, it is said, "Touch the stainless Bodhi of the Buddhas." Because Bodhisattvas possess the nature of lineage, the goal of practice such as armor is mainly the Bodhi of complete enlightenment. The so-called "stainless" refers to the Bodhi that is separated from all characteristics. The rest is easy to understand. The goal of the means of the cause to which the name Bodhisattva is applied has been explained. The appearance of the so-called great Bodhisattva etc. is to explain that the practice aimed at Bodhi becomes the great cause of the great Bodhisattva, and there are three types. The great nature of generating the mind is the appearance of "many sentient beings" etc. This is because the many immeasurable sentient beings are the most excellent of the immeasurable distinctions of sentient beings. Thus, in order to save all sentient beings, all the vows are generated.
