The term "ground" refers to what is related to "unchanging," therefore it is synonymous with "the object that does not change." What then is "I"? It refers to the practice of whatever Dharma, Dharma being self and so forth. Because it is the basis for non-objective conduct, it is the conceptualization of sentient beings. And why is there no objectification? How does the non-objectification of self and others become the conduct of the characteristics of perfecting oneself and others? Therefore, "conduct" and so on are mentioned. It means that whatever Dharma does not have the characteristic of non-objectifying arising is a noble conduct because it is not contrary to characteristics and is the cause of purifying oneself and others. If it is not so, then merely believing and paying attention to it will not abandon the practice. Having understood this, one will say that there is no Dharma that can be objectified. Therefore, "this is" and so on are mentioned, which is the conceptualization of pure arising. If Dharma is also objectified, then how can it become the conduct of the characteristic that only speaks of non-objectification? It is not so, because how things are objectified by fools will disappear due to being refuted by valid cognition, which has already been said and will continue to be explained. Then how does Dharma exist? It is said, "Whatever does not exist." "That exists" is a redundant word, because the object of action objectified by children is a fabricated object of action, therefore he thinks that the only characteristic that is separated from fabrication is the ultimate truth. Therefore, it is said that "the connection of calling this a characteristic does not exist," which means that precisely because of this, Dharma does not exist as it is established, so the word "non-existence" is spoken. It does not exist in that way, so it is said to be "non-existent," which is the conceptualization of non-existence. If forms and other extremely differentiated dharmas do not exist, then how can this be said to be non-existent? It is not so, because forms and other self-natures are empty, as previously stated. Like the Blessed Mother...
