Those that will be explained are the dharmas that are mostly practiced and developed on that particular ground. If done in this way, it will be in accordance with the sutras, they say. Others say that this is not reasonable. If, as it is said, these collections of grounds do not cause the unobtained to be obtained, but rather cause the obtained to increase, then at that time, when showing the collection of the ninth ground, saying "the qualities of liberation, the Bodhi tree, etc.," would be inappropriate. Because those are the qualities of the bodhisattvas of the tenth ground. Therefore, the teacher also clearly showed that those are the causes for obtaining that ground. This is what they think. Among them, on which ground does which dharma increase the most? It is the ten perfections in order. Which dharma should be studied more in order to obtain that ground? It is that very dharma itself. Furthermore, in the chapter of the Noble Ten Grounds Sutra, it says, "In this, the two objects of gathering, generosity and sweet speech, increase the most, causing sentient beings to fully mature," and it should be combined with what is said. Complete training has already been mentioned in passing. In terms of completely taking hold of the body, one mostly becomes the king of Jambudvipa, as well as the Chakravartin king, as well as the lord of the gods, Indra, as well as the Immovable, as well as Tushita, as well as Nirmāṇarati, as well as the masters of Paranirmita-vaśavartin, as well as the Brahma, the lord of a thousand, as well as the Great Brahma, the lord of the three thousand great thousand worlds, and the great powerful son of the gods, etc., thereby completely destroying miserliness, immoral discipline, desire for sensual pleasures, the view of the perishable collection, the abodes of the heretics, and pride, and accomplishing the omniscient wisdom for sentient beings. In terms of conventional wisdom, on the first ground, one sees the faces of a hundred Buddhas, abides in a hundred samadhis, and travels through a hundred Buddha-fields, etc., all in a single moment. Similarly, combining and multiplying the numbers, there are thousands, hundreds of thousands, kotis, hundreds of thousands of kotis, hundreds of thousands of kotis, hundreds of thousands of kotis of billions, and extremely fine dust particles of ten hundred thousand trillions of three thousand worlds.

like fine dust; and the number of extremely fine dust particles that fill hundreds of thousands of tens of millions of billions of Buddhafields; and the number of extremely fine dust particles of Buddhafields that are inexpressible hundreds of thousands of tens of millions of billions. After translating in this way, most of the qualities of these grounds, and so on, can be referred to in the "Chapter on the Ten Sacred Grounds." The differences among them lie in grasping at commonalities, and the discriminating thoughts of grasping become four hundred and eight types. Specifically, it is said that the first ground is the extreme ignorance of being manifestly attached to persons and dharmas, and the extreme ignorance of the afflictions of the lower realms, and the adverse conditions of their abodes. The second ground is the extreme ignorance of being deluded by subtle downfalls, and the extreme ignorance of the various aspects of karma, and the adverse conditions of their abodes. The third ground is the extreme ignorance of attachment to desirable objects, and the extreme ignorance of the perfection of the dharani of hearing, and the adverse conditions of their abodes. The fourth ground is the extreme ignorance of craving for absorption, and the extreme ignorance of craving for dharma, and the adverse conditions of their abodes. The fifth ground is the extreme ignorance of turning away from and inclining towards samsara, and the extreme ignorance of turning away from and inclining towards nirvana, and the adverse conditions of their abodes. The sixth ground is the extreme ignorance of the manifestation of arising actions, and the extreme ignorance of the increase of signs, and the adverse conditions of their abodes. The seventh ground is the extreme ignorance of the arising of subtle signs, and the extreme ignorance of attending to the completely signless, and the adverse conditions of their abodes. The eighth ground is the extreme ignorance of the obscuration of the signless, and the extreme ignorance of having power over pure signs, and the adverse conditions of their abodes. The ninth ground is the extreme ignorance of teaching the Dharma immeasurably, and the immeasurable words and letters of the Dharma, and the wisdom of the higher and higher levels, and the power of eloquence, and the mastery of retention, and the eloquence.
