The aspect of concealing the imputed forms of things is called emptiness. Because emptiness is the essence that obscures the imputed forms, even while maintaining the nature of things, children will certainly not change. Therefore, because the term "grasped" cannot be applied, it is just like not being grasped, and therefore this is not an object of focus, as has been taught. Therefore, considering the realm of mental engagement, the ultimate truth is completely distinct from the conventional truth, because in the samadhi wisdom of the Joyful Land and so on, conventionalities do not appear. That conventional truth is also completely distinct from the ultimate truth, because in the minds of children, only conventionalities appear. The great Bodhisattva who is supremely accustomed to both wisdom and skillful means, abiding in the heart of enlightenment, and the immeasurable light of wisdom of the Buddhas, having completely abandoned the appearance of both, by the power of the appearance of the two truths as inseparable, achieves nirvana that does not abide in either samsara or peace. To apply this meaning, the noble one says in the tenth chapter: The Bodhisattva who abides on the immovable ground, by the power of true encouragement, those seven grounds are well trained with wisdom and skillful means, accumulating merit extremely, making great aspirations extremely, blessed by the best of men, possessing virtuous qualities, wisdom manifest desire, the skillful eighth ground is completely subdued. Accumulating merit and wisdom, possessing compassion and love, following the immeasurable mind, a mind like the sky. The great sage, having heard the Dharma, possesses the power of realization, and obtains the subtle and peaceful forbearance of non-arising. Not born before, unborn, without characteristics, unarisen, without destruction, without cause, things without arising or ceasing, that nature without distinction, without the realm of mind and thought, like the sky. Like that, possessing such forbearance, the wise one without elaboration, obtains the profound conduct, the excellent place of peace. It is difficult for Arhats, Pratyekabuddhas, and all sentient beings to know. Eliminating the perception of grasping at signs, appearances, and aggregates. Thus.
