Desire. Until this is realized, it is to acknowledge only what is known. Forms and other dependent origination are called the true nature in conventional truth, which indicates that the appearance is not clear. As it is said: Therefore, I speak of no self-nature, not denying appearance. Then, how can these various things not fall into reality? On this, it is said in the sutra that one should examine this very thing as having the nature of no self-nature. This is illustrated in the sutra by the example of seeking sound from a lute. If one does not make efforts such as tuning the lute, no sound will arise; if one dismantles the body of the lute, one will not find the substance of sound, and eventually it will be cut off. Similarly, the Tathagatagarbha, which does not fall into either samsara or nirvana, is extremely profound. It is not merely form and other things, nor is it the absence of appearance after abandoning these. It is merely the realm of peace. Therefore, one must completely abandon. Therefore, it is sufficient to understand only that the nature of these things is neither other nor this. Thus, it abides. In this way, just as an illusory elephant defeats another illusory elephant, if one sees reality without inversion, one will be liberated. The Blessed Maitreya also said in the Ornament of the Sutras: Just as a magician defeats another magician with illusion, those who see all dharmas, those sons of the Buddha have no pride. The so-called "Endurance of the Knowledge of Dharma in Suffering" refers to the definite grasping of the path of seeing, which means that that moment becomes the main part. Having thirty-six aspects is because it becomes the antidote to so many conceptualizations. The one who is born is the nature of the arising of such wisdom. The so-called "peak realization here" means that the path of seeing in the initial stages cannot easily eliminate so many conceptualizations, but in the subsequent stages, one does not need to strive to eliminate them, so here one eliminates them. The so-called afflictions of habituation refer to conceptualization.

Their cause is that. In some cases, by cutting off the cause beforehand, the latent tendencies are cut off. For example, like cutting off the top of a Tala tree, the root part quickly dries up. Here, it is merely conceptualization and a power unrelated to things. Where association with women and the like naturally gives rise to conceptualizations, in most cases, unless the latent tendencies are cut off, they manifest and arise like the shadow of a seabird flying in the sky following behind, and like the roots of a Nyagrodha tree growing greatly. Dependent origination refers to forms and the like that have become like mere illusions, and their nature is freedom from elaboration. "Because it focuses on that" means because it makes that a stepping stone. "The lion's majestic absorption" refers to the characteristics of the initial mind of enlightenment, as previously shown, and again, having entered into samadhi on that, later in time, at the time when the path of seeing, which is constantly gathered, is not equally established. Thus, the three, wisdom with appearance, without appearance, and wisdom with conceptualization, are the path of seeing. The first is the common cause of the Buddha's ground. The second is the abandonment of one hundred and eight conceptualizations. Also, that with appearance prevents falling into the realm of peace. That with conceptualization makes one accustomed to the nature of conventional truths, the conventional. Thus, although the path of seeing has conceptualization, due to having believed for a long time that things have no inherent nature, attachment is very thin, like a wise person seeing images in a mirror, so some consider it the ultimate truth, and in those grounds, afflictions do not arise either. The path of meditating on a support is. This is both a support and a path of meditation, so it is the path of meditating on a support, a collection of common ground. Then, what is it a support for? It is the support for all qualities that are inseparable from oneself, and from what will be explained, after all these epidemics have ceased, like breathing out after a long time, the qualities that accomplish happiness for those who go in all forms are
