It should be known that this meaning needs to be explained extensively. Thus, and so on, with the Sutra Pitaka as the main focus, the explanations given in some cases are only briefly mentioned. In the context of the pinnacle of fully realizing all aspects, one abstains from killing oneself, and also urges others to abstain from killing. For those other sentient beings who have abstained from killing and have truly taken it up, one praises their virtues and rejoices in their good deeds. Such things are also cited in two different ways, and are also cited here. Similarly, the sources of the sutras can be flexibly applied as needed, and there is no fault in explaining each word multiple times, because its power is not limited to a single interpretation. Some say that using the meaning of the sutra as a basis, expressing it through concise and extensive ways, is only for the purpose of serving the interests of others. In the context where the meaning of the sutra is used as the basis for words, the differences between teaching students and teaching groups of diligent practitioners should be explained, but since these differences are already well known, there is no need to specifically explain them here. Thus, the object of the mind of enlightenment,

The incarnate body of the earth, due to the karma of those to be tamed, appears as a Bodhisattva residing in Tushita, gradually manifesting enlightenment. Having observed this meaning closely, the 'Holy Lankavatara Sutra' states: 'The true Buddha attains enlightenment there, while the emanations attain enlightenment here.' In that sutra, the Realm of Form, Akanishta, is referred to as 'there,' and the Realm of Desire is referred to as 'here.' Children, merely through their own conceptualizations, create terms based on their attachment to nearness and distance. In some world realms, Bodhisattvas who are masters of the ten bhumis reside in Tushita and gradually manifest complete enlightenment in this Jambudvipa, either manifesting as a true Buddha or as an emanation. With that meaning in mind, the 'Holy Transcending the World Chapter' states: 'O sons of kings, these ten are the actions of Bodhisattvas residing in the abode of Tushita. Which ten? For example, showing the sons of the gods of the realm of light the happiness of desire, showing the impermanence of power, showing that all perfections will decline, and causing them to truly generate the mind of enlightenment, this is the first action of residing in Tushita. Showing the sons of the gods of the Realm of Form meditation, liberation, samadhi, attainment, and emergence, and truly showing attachment to meditation and the limbs of meditation, as well as the view of the perishable aggregate arising from existence, and the afflictions that are mostly ignorance, and completely showing all those who have entered into the perversions of the Formless Realm that all thoughts of suffering are impermanent, thereby generating the mind of enlightenment, this is the second action of residing in Tushita. O sons of kings, the Bodhisattvas residing in the abode of Tushita abide in the samadhi called Excellent Ornament, emitting light from their bodies, filling the three thousand great thousand world systems with great light, and proclaiming various Dharma sounds according to the faith of sentient beings. Having heard these Dharma sounds, their minds are transformed, and they develop faith in the gods of Tushita.

They will be reborn as gods, and after being reborn in this way, they will generate the mind of enlightenment. This is the third activity of residing in Tushita, and so on, extensively explained. Furthermore, ten activities of descending from Tushita are taught, which can be known from the extensive sutra itself. Because of the fear of extensive texts, it is not mentioned here. The divisions are mentioned incidentally. From the very beginning, "For the sake of others, desiring perfect enlightenment," by this power, the very nature of generating the mind is mainly shown, and classifications are established only at the stage of the very nature, therefore it is only shown incidentally here. To diligently practice as it is, means that in order to prevent the minds of enlightenment with the nature of cause from deteriorating and increasing in their respective boundaries, effort is diligently practiced. That is, in order to achieve that cause, the key instructions are diligently practiced. The word "diligently practice" is connected to two word endings. In order to accomplish the supreme Dharma, "that" refers to being in accordance with the initial mind of enlightenment, therefore it refers to the minds of enlightenment with the nature of cause. The Dharma that is drawn by those is the Buddha-land encompassed by the three minds of enlightenment of the fruit. In order to accomplish, the key instructions are diligently practiced. Others say that "that" refers to being without interruption, and "generating the mind of enlightenment," and also because it is in accordance, it is connected to that itself and in general, and the Dharma that is drawn refers to as many trainings as there are that increase the mind of enlightenment. In order to accomplish those, the key instructions are diligently practiced, therefore obtaining merit refers to contemplating impurity and so on. By the meaning of completely protecting those, it means protecting together with increasing the mind of enlightenment and diligently practicing. This saying is not good, because if so, from what is being taught, by the order of showing the activities of the initial and final mind of enlightenment, the meanings of the remaining intermediate words should also be understood. How is such a showing quoted? At that time, you are generating the mind of enlightenment.
