I arise, as it is said: "In this very life I become a Buddha, I have no teacher." and so on. Among these, the first self-arisen is the Tathagatagarbha previously shown, the speech of all Buddhas. This is holding onto the second self-arisen, from the power of বহু劫 (Tibetan: བསྐལ་པ་མང་པོར་, Sanskrit Devanagari: बहुकल्प, Sanskrit Romanization: bahukalpa, Literal Chinese meaning: বহু劫) of habituation, one can also attain self-arisenness, and similarly, from the power of habituation, one can also have mastery over all dharmas, as it is said: "If not habituated to become easy, no thing exists." Thus. The power of accumulating merit for a long time also leads to mastery, as it is said: "The thoughts of people with increasing merit will also be accomplished." In detail, it should be understood from the Sutra of the Explanation of the Realization of the Power of Merit of the Youth. Furthermore, the main thing for mastering all dharmas is: "Apart from the Dharmadhatu, such a dharma does not exist." and so on, and "One thing is the nature of all things, all things are the nature of one thing. Whoever realizes the suchness of one thing with wisdom, he also realizes the suchness of all things with wisdom." With this reasoning, whoever knows the Dharmadhatu, then by the power of that, relying only on how one wants, one should understand that this is the truth. Thus, focusing on the Tathagatagarbha, obtaining the omniscient wisdom, therefore, by the power of mastering things, it is established as self-arisen, and by the way of knowing it without confusion, it is called the aspect of the Buddha who has fully realized perfect enlightenment, the difference is only this much. Some say that self-arisen is the cause and the subject, while fully realizing perfect enlightenment is the result and the nature of that subject, the basis for this is: "Son of the lineage, after the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, have fully realized perfect enlightenment, they abide in the samadhi called 'Buddha's Extremely Manifest Perfect Enlightenment', only then do they enter into samadhi, as soon as they enter into samadhi, they abide in as many bodies as there are sentient beings. They abide in as many speech and minds as there are bodies." Thus it is said. The difference between Shravakas and Bodhisattvas, etc.

It has been said before that Bodhisattvas should cultivate all paths. In order for Bodhisattvas to become familiar with all knowledge, their cultivation is with outflows. This is because they only suppress afflictions, and do not specifically abandon them. However, when Sravakas and Pratyekabuddhas cultivate, it is without outflows. This is because they abandon afflictions like abandoning a poisonous arrow. The phrase "in order" refers to the display of meaning. The phrase "because afflictions are not completely abandoned" is like how brooms and unclean things in the great city of Light Guardian are beneficial to sugarcane fields, rice fields, and bean fields. The Light Guardian also said that the afflictions of Bodhisattvas are also beneficial to Bodhi, and understanding this meaning, they do not abandon them. Furthermore, it is said: Those who possess great skillful means, Afflictions transform into limbs of Bodhi. The meaning of limbs is the meaning of cause. (Tibetan, , , ) is a specific name for afflictions, because these cause beings to leak and fall in that realm and that realm, therefore it is ཟག་པ་ (Tibetan, , , ), ཟག་པ་ (Tibetan, , , ) is a specific name for falling. Similarly, there are also the names: pervasive action, bondage, latent tendencies, near afflictions, universal entanglement, rivers, union, close attachment, knots, obscurations, otherness, defilement, suffering, heaviness, misconduct, lack, pervasive burning, disturbance, strife, epidemics, forest combination, and obstacles. The phrase "with special combinations" refers to the four combinations that are in accordance with the decisive part. Special refers to the difference from Sravakas and others, the difference arising from cause and complete grasping, etc. Or, the combinations mentioned earlier in the context of the three omniscient ones are not supreme because they are objects of hearing and thought. But here, because the action of cultivation has been done, it is designated as supreme. Here, the twenty combinations are also summarized, showing the four that are in accordance with the decisive part.
