And the saying of "aspect" etc., in fact, also means that your (statements) contradict the scriptures. In this way, these are sixteen contemplations and large and small (classifications), not momentary dharmas. "The small portion of those to be tamed that should be forgotten" refers to refuting much talk by arguing about what is the cause of opening this path of meditation; or, among those to be tamed, those who can be said to be the cause of this path are very few, extremely rare, thus showing that this path is difficult to obtain. Furthermore, "in order to make those to be tamed focus on the fruit" refers to the fact that for the path of meditation as the fruit, through faith and attention, etc., in order to make them focus on this, first these six actions should focus on this and enter this path, thus teaching them by showing the cause of the arising path. The difference between defiled and undefiled is mainly that they are associated with and separated from conceptual thought. The meaning summarized here is that faith and dedication, as well as rejoicing and attention, etc., are combined with the subsequent wisdom of the pure worldly state; direct realization is the wisdom of equanimity. Those (faith, etc.) are also possessed by the Hearers, etc., each accordingly, so determining the characteristics as completely pure. Others believe that from the Immaculate Ground to the Seventh Ground are the defiled paths of meditation, while from the Eighth Ground onwards are the paths of meditation of direct realization, because the antidote to the opposing side, all the general paths of meditation, will be explained later, because that is continuous. Small, medium, and large, as well as small of small, etc., are differentiated, so it is considered that there are nine aspects. This is how it is shown. Complete purification actually only elucidates the manifestation of the fruit of the path of meditation and the time of cause, as well as the difference between long and short. In this way, it shows the contents belonging to the limbs of the path of meditation, while aspects, etc., are shown elsewhere, they say. No matter how those are, each ground will also speak of ninety-nine aspects. It is called that faith has twenty-seven aspects.

The cause of faith here is the pure scripture, and the reasoning is the view. Its nature is to grasp the determined object as it is. From this, doubt is dispelled, that is, the one with faith cannot have their own established tenets taken away by others. If asked what the distinctions are? It is said to be faith in the Mother for one's own benefit, for the benefit of others, and for the benefit of both. The first is that, acting in this way, as it is said, "I desire my own happiness," it arises without effort, because it has been extremely practiced since beginningless samsara. When Bodhisattvas first generate that mind, they prevent focusing on their own benefit by means of equality of self and others or the exchange of self and others, with the sequence of pleasing relatives and sentient beings through mindfulness, etc., and apply it to the benefit of others. However, the subsequent mind knows that the accomplishment of the benefit of both self and others is certain due to the power of things, like a monkey freed from the neck, so there is no desire for each individual thing like the former. Some say that here, one's own benefit is during a long period of time. Starting from the immovable ground is the benefit of others, that is, those who dwell in extreme peace in that ground for their own benefit are encouraged again by the Buddhas who have perfected it. The tenth ground is the benefit of both self and others, that is, dwelling on this ground is the cause, dwelling on this is the cause, and for this reason it is said to be the Buddha. For the sake of counting as twenty-seven, the first is to focus on one's own benefit in a small and very small way, that is, merely writing and holding this victorious Mother as stated in the scriptures, one will hold more merit than offering the relics of the Buddha, which are born from the cause of the six perfections, in a stupa of seven jewels. The medium among the small, if separated from the Prajnaparamita, then the Bodhisattva will not become a fully enlightened Buddha through the power of generating Bodhicitta, etc., because they will regress. This shows that its power is extremely superior, as it is said in the Sutra of the Golden King.
