Relying on. Since there is no name and no covering, who can praise you here? Although we have not praised you with such words, you have already transcended joy and displeasure, but this is only conventional truth. Thus, praise is expressed. Therefore, this mother is without elaboration and without conceptualization. Therefore, offerings and prostrations, etc., should not be abandoned. So, what is the purpose of prostrating? Therefore, its adornment, summarized in verses, is respectfully prostrated in order to distinguish it. Connect this sentence with the previous one. It is indicated by the feminine ending of "its," and in terms of meaning, it is also connected with the Prajnaparamita itself. Thus, to whom do we prostrate? To the adornment of the Prajnaparamita itself, summarized in verses, we respectfully prostrate in order to distinguish it, thus connecting the words. Adornment refers to the key points summarized in verses, by which the meaning of the Prajnaparamita can be understood. By understanding this meaning, the wise will rejoice in this key point and will also be grateful for it, because it is like a target. Thus, because joy arises, this is an adornment, a name for metaphor. Relying on this meaning, the noble Maitreya Bodhisattva also said: Forms and adornments, endowed with intrinsic qualities, enter into a mirror, and because of seeing them, they cause people to generate great joy. Similarly, excellent speech, always endowed with intrinsic qualities, the Dharma can also cause the wise to generate great joy here by analyzing the meanings. So it is said. Verses refer to the name of any root verse composed of four lines of eight syllables, which transcends the Lord of Vajras. Distinguishing is only meaning, and from the point of view of the explainer, the noble Vimuktisena said: From the meaning of power, from the door of vision, in order to be easily understood, without making language and words, etc., the teacher truly manifests. I prostrate to the good lama, this is a clear explanation of the verses, made by Simhabhadra. So it is said. The fourth line should be regarded as the cause. Since prostration is made in order to distinguish those verses, then what is the necessity of merely distinguishing them?

Having contemplated thus, it is said, "Because it becomes the ornament of all." Here, "all" refers to all the Prajnaparamita as explained. The so-called "becoming an ornament" means that the reason why people, whether male or female, like the form is the various ornaments. However, if these ornaments are stained with dirt, they cannot make people happy. Therefore, to adorn with ornaments is to remove the dirt from the ornaments. Similarly, the ornament that pleases the wise is the verse itself. Although it has been explained in this way, some people may have doubts due to misunderstanding or misinterpretation: This verse cannot well explain the meaning of the mothers of the Buddhas, so it is not an ornament. The venerable teacher, with a clear and concise commentary, avoided cumbersome combinations and directly explained this point, thereby eliminating the bad dirt caused by misunderstanding and incomprehension. Therefore, this commentary is an ornament, because it plays the role of adornment, so it is adorned with ornaments. Therefore, it becomes an ornament by eliminating dirt. As the venerable Kamalashila said, "Precisely because of this, by eliminating the bad slandering dirt, this is called the Ornament of the Middle Way." The fourth is to explain its reason. Therefore, this commentary scripture is the object to be explained, and what is to be explained, in terms of language, is the verse itself. In terms of meaning, it is all the mothers of the Buddhas. Its necessity, directly speaking, is to explain the meaning of the verse well, and its deeper necessity is to prove that this verse is an ornament for the opponents. Others are that by explaining the meaning of the verse well, it proves that it is an ornament, which is the necessity. From understanding the entire meaning of the mothers of the Buddhas to the non-abiding Nirvana, this is the deeper necessity of necessity. It should be understood that it is impossible to achieve this by relying on the commentary alone, and if one only relies on the root text itself, it will be explained later that it is unreasonable. In addition, due to the power of the first verse, it is promised to start writing by distinguishing the scriptures.
