In terms of arising, it can be divided into mundane and supramundane. As for the realizations, etc., from the path of seeing onwards, in the stage of the path of cultivation, one becomes familiar with the previously seen states again, hence it belongs to the supramundane. Therefore, from the perspective of what is being explained, all aspects, paths, and bases, through the distinction of cultivation, in sequence, the three realizations such as the realization of all aspects of wisdom, with the mundane decisive part preceded by realization, thus realizing the supramundane path of seeing and the path of cultivation. And for the three realizations such as the realization of all aspects, through cultivation higher and higher, with the difference of stages, in all aspects, the uncontaminated wisdom gathered by the excellent path arises in the order of small, medium, and large, in order to prevent the view of sudden arising, the teachings of the decisive part, etc., are taught. It is said that what corresponds to the decisive part is also approximately indicated, such as the four mindfulnesses, etc., are also for the purpose of confirming familiarity and cultivating again. Therefore, from the perspective of what is being explained: "The limbs of the decisive part and the path of seeing, In the paths of the path and cultivation, Repeatedly contemplating and measuring, And the stage of definite understanding and cultivation." What is said in this way should also be understood as including the four mindfulnesses, etc. Such a teaching is also divided into three stages: the stage of learning, the stage of teaching what is to be learned, and the stage of the fruit of becoming what is taught. So, although only one stage, three stages, and six stages are taught, from the point of view of meaning, it must also be two stages, namely the stage of cause and the stage of effect. Since it is possible to determine in this way, why did the noble Maitreya's countenance widely teach in the manner of eight stages, etc.? This meaning will also be explained below. Thus, most of the meaning of the stages is explained here, that is, here it is taught that the three all-aspects of wisdom summarize the eight meanings of the stages, only to avoid grasping as chaotic. How many stages are there here?

Now, even if taught, those who enter (the Dharma) must know all the aspects of the cause, and they must know what its result is. The reason for this will be briefly explained below, so it is not considered here. However, do not let the mind be confused by the meaning of the moment, but gradually connect so that the mind abides in virtue and attains happiness. The so-called "surpassing with a little liberation" is that these Pratyekabuddhas easily awaken due to the destruction and formation of the vessel world, and the body of the sentient world is also completely destroyed, so they awaken to selflessness. Therefore, they understand one aspect of selflessness in the Dharma, and thus their awakening is superior. Therefore, it is said: Because the grasped awakening declines, and because attachment is not abandoned, the path that relies on it, like a rhinoceros horn, is manifested as profound. Thus it is taught. In the Sutra of the Prophecy of the Terrifying Manifestation of the Noble Manjushri, it is asked, what is the awakening of the Pratyekabuddhas? The answer is: Thus, they awaken to the fact that the Dharma realm is without beginning, end, or middle, and is selfless. This is also awakening to selflessness from the grasped form aggregate, which is the same as the Dharma realm, not from the remaining four grasping aggregates. In samsara, because it is constant and continuous, it is said to be selfless, and their (Pratyekabuddhas') wisdom is destroyed. The so-called "together with the remainder of the aggregates" means that the aggregates themselves are the remainder. In the world, the last thing that is close to destruction is also called the remainder. Having it with them means that those noble ones have not abandoned it. Then, when those noble ones abandon the burden of the aggregates, there is no remainder of the aggregates. The sutra says, "Abandon the burden of self." This is also well abandoned. Some books do not mention the word "remainder." As the characteristics that have been taught, transcending suffering with nirvana is nirvana because the fire of the results of karma and afflictions is extinguished, which is said from the etymology of the word. Here, those who claim that external objects are real, and those who think that what is knowable is internal, because there is no seed for rebirth, how can they be reborn? The body is destroyed, the feeling turns cold, and consciousness ceases.
