Furthermore, the second dhyana and so on also fall into this category, because they lack conceptualization and investigation. Moreover, if the mind and mental factors are completely pacified and abide therein, then the cessation attainment also falls into this category. If, due to conditions, one does not grasp objects and abides therein, then the Victorious Ones and so on also fall into this category. However, if one thinks, "This is non-conceptual," and abides therein because no other conceptualizations arise, then that itself is conceptualization, so how can it be said to be non-conceptual? These are not referring to what is being considered here, but rather to the wisdom of individual discernment, which, through prolonged contemplation of phenomena, reaches a point where even the subtlest parts of phenomena are imperceptible, and one becomes firmly established in certainty. When, at some point, one no longer conceptualizes any object and the self-luminous, clear light of wisdom naturally arises, immeasurable and boundless, and one is able to cognize it oneself, that is non-conceptual wisdom. Those who have only seen the surface appearance, if they have not even slightly experienced it, how can they be certain? They have not experienced pervasiveness and mastery, etc., The cause that abides immeasurably, Even by those who have become the crown of the world, It has not been experienced. This pure nectar, Is the cause of pure compassion, Other than the Thus-Gone One, It is not the enjoyment of others. Thus it is taught. Therefore, for those who follow the Thus-Gone One, it is indeed something that can be experienced. This wisdom should be inferred from the cause and believed to exist with certainty, but it can never be grasped as clearly as objects such as a vase. Therefore, the teacher has also said, "When the power of meditation is accomplished, for some, like the knowledge of jewels and silver, etc., all signs of delusion are completely abandoned, and the mind appears as the nature of illusion. If this non-conceptual wisdom arises truly in some way that is to be self-realized, then the yogi will completely abandon the obscurations of knowledge." What is being said here is also to establish this point. The phrase "in some way" is itself a word that cannot be expressed. If the fruit of non-conceptual wisdom arises from the cause of being accustomed to the wisdom of individual discernment, then the cause is conceptualization itself, and its fruit is the opposite of that. Therefore, cause and fruit are contradictory, so this wisdom does not arise from the cause.

If it arises from anywhere, or does not arise as if pursuing a cause, then how is this not a cause? Even when examining separately, one enters with faith in the absence of elaboration, and upon entering, one obtains the very nature of absence of elaboration at the time of the result. If the cause and effect are not different in all aspects, then how can they become cause and effect? What is the cause for? It is also designated as a cause merely because it follows some aspects. Furthermore, in the Arya Dense Array Sutra, it is said: 'From horns comes salt, from reeds comes garlic, from unclean worms and the like comes honey, and many other dissimilar things. Results similar to causes are not seen anywhere, from changing causes come results.' It is said. Also, like the example of fire arising from sandalwood, the arising of dissimilar results from dissimilar causes is also not harmed by the inconceivable nature of the dharmata of all dharmas. Thus, the self-cognizance of non-conceptual wisdom is reasonable. Since it is non-conceptual, how can it be established as the supreme delight that has the sphere of the Prajnaparamita? If it is said that delight is faith arising from the mind, then the meaning of this has been said before. Having ascertained this mother of non-conceptual wisdom, because it is obtained after it, one makes supreme delight in how it is held, just as the mind follows and clings to the objects seen by the eyes. Or, there is no fault in separately applying the sphere of self-cognizant wisdom, the Prajnaparamita, as supreme delight. The rest are easy to understand. To say a little, the necessity of prostration here is for others to know that one belongs to the ranks of the noble ones. And that necessity is to have disciples enter into the verses composed by oneself, thinking in this way, one prostrates. 'Devoid of the nature of one and many,' and so forth, means: These things spoken of by myself and others, if they are truly one, because they are devoid of the nature of many, they have no nature, like reflections. And, whatever things are analyzed, that and that are not one. For what does not have one nature, for that there is also no many natures. Without understanding one and many, one cannot
