will not occur. The second type of disciples are the Bodhisattvas, to whom the Sambhogakaya appears. Only the tenth-level Bodhisattvas can see it there. Others say that it appears from the eighth level onwards. Still others say that due to the power of great aspirations and merit accumulation, it can appear to everyone, but it will not appear to those who are attached to the appearance of Sravakas and Pratyekabuddhas. Therefore, in the Sutra of the Great Vehicle of Faith and Profound Contemplation, it is said, "In his retinue, he showed gods, nagas, yakshas, non-humans, etc." This refers to those who consider the Nirmanakaya to be the Sambhogakaya and firmly believe in it. The inferior disciples are the Sravakas, etc., in whose realm only the Nirmanakaya appears. The term "etc." refers to those who are uncertain and have not entered any fruit. When the warmth is obtained, the Nirmanakaya is always seen, as stated in the sutra, "Seeing the Buddha, etc." Even if warmth, etc. is not obtained, seeing it occasionally is not denied. On the Joyful Land, etc., because all phenomena are seen, one tends to believe that the Dharmakaya is seen, as stated in the sutra, "There, one is convinced that the forms that appear are the Buddhas themselves." The term "non-different" refers to being in terms of one's own nature. The term "distinctly established" refers to the fact that it appears different due to the difference in its power. Therefore, for children, no matter how many contradictions seem to exist, even if they exist as contradictions, there is no contradiction, because the Dharmadhatu is inconceivable, so it cannot be refuted. In any case, the two truths should not contradict each other and refute each other. Do not make the two contradict each other with your own conceptualizations. Therefore, here, in the state of ordinary beings, the not completely pure Dharmadhatu appears in various conceptualizations as things that do not exist. But in the Buddha Land of Samantabhadra, the completely pure Suchness itself appears as various things. Thus, in terms of the Svabhavikakaya, the Holy Naga

Before the honorable one of practice, it is neither one nor many, neither self nor other, but the basis of great perfectness that benefits oneself and others. It is neither non-existent nor existent, but like the sky, it is of one taste, with a nature difficult to realize. It is free from elaboration and unchanging, peaceful and incomparable in its pervasiveness, that which is free from elaboration. The self-awareness of each individual, the Dharmakaya of the Buddhas, the unparalleled one, to that I prostrate. After praising in this way, he also explained its characteristics compared to others. Secret Lord, how does the non-discrimination of the Dharmadhatu accomplish all that is desired? Secret Lord, it is like the realm of space, which is neither sentient beings, nor life, nor born of strength, nor an agent, nor a perceiver, nor an object, nor a subject, and is free from all concepts and differentiations, yet it performs all actions such as going and coming for all sentient beings without exception, and there is no doubt about this. Likewise, the non-discriminating, omniscient, and non-abiding one, definitely accomplishes everything, both the outer and inner aspects of beings. Thus it is said. The name Dharmakaya, when the four Kayas are established, the Kaya of the possessor of Dharma is called Dharmakaya, because the nature of the possessor of Dharma, as previously stated, is not this. When the three Kayas are established, it is named the essence Kaya, because Dharma-nature is different from the possessor of Dharma, so it should not be regarded as such. The nature of non-elaborate wisdom is what was previously stated. Because that non-elaboration also abides in many aspects, the nature of the four mindfulnesses and so on is mentioned, and "so on" refers to the immeasurable and the hundred and four Buddha Dharmas. If it has so many aspects, how can it be called non-elaborate wisdom? Therefore, it is said to be unpolluted, and "pollution" is sometimes seen as affliction, such as the exhaustion of pollution. It is understood here as well, that the afflictions that have not been specifically abandoned, such as those that are latent, are somewhat present in the minds of the Bodhisattvas on the ten Bhumis, and on the Buddha ground, they are
