There is nothing to explain separately by following the example of motherly courage, wisdom, diligence, and faith. Likewise, the general time, such as the three countless eons, will never change. The four antidotes are applied by reversing, that is, as the antidote to abandoning that and that. The sound called "the conceptualization of the apprehended" should be understood as negating the possibility of clinging to the object, therefore it is explained as the conceptualization of the apprehended. The so-called "for the sake of affliction" means "for the sake of conceptualization." If one thinks that conceptualization is one, but how can it be nine? It is because "by the difference of objects" is mentioned. This fifth one is connected as a reason. The so-called "merely entering without being related to things," things refer to those with names, that is, the object of how to recognize. Unrelated means that if those things existed as examined, then they would also become related at that time, but because they do not exist, they are unrelated. Therefore, the so-called unrelated, this shows that the four conceptualizations are merely non-existent. The so-called "merely entering" is like someone entering without basis because they ate a Datura flower and want to pick up a golden needle in the sky. Therefore, through the perspective of the uninterrupted path, the wisdom of abandoning the baseless inversion is shown. Taking ordinary beings as objects and clinging to them as substantially existing individuals, and taking noble beings as objects and clinging to them as nominally existing, thus combining the apprehended and the apprehender. Among them, those ordinary beings are called individuals, following worldly fame. Those existing as substantial are not like the two moons and so on, which have the power of true conventional function. Clinging means thinking that this is true because it is directly perceived, and the scriptures also say that the action of walking is also nature and difference. Noble beings refer to those who have been liberated from suffering, and liberation from suffering is merely nominal. As the sutra says: Monks, these five dharmas are merely nominal, which five? Past, future, nirvana, and non-analytical cessation.

, and the individuals, etc. These are merely names, as it is said. Such clinging is to believe that this is true, because it is known to exist only in name, and if there were no such thing as mere name, who would strive on the path? Therefore, by clinging to name, one can also infer the existence of noble beings. Some may wonder how these can become incompatible aspects. When these objects of grasping, namely ordinary beings and noble beings, are regarded as merely imputed, they should be understood as such, because they do not exist in the nature of the object, using this as a reason. First, in explaining the meaning of prostration, by showing that things are not established by means of one and many, etc., by meditating on the essential meaning, neither samsara nor nirvana are established as mere illusions, so how can the conceptual thoughts that cling to them be established? This is his thought. Some here say: If the meaning of what is grasped has no self-nature, then what do they want to grasp with? Thus, the nature of these grasping ones is the characteristic of emptiness. The meaning of this passage is that the eighteen conceptual thoughts of what is grasped are objects, and the eighteen conceptual thoughts of what grasps are subjects, thus combining the two categories of conceptual thoughts as object and subject, these people have not understood at all. In order to refute this, the teacher said that one should grasp, that is, the conceptual thought of what is grasped as mentioned earlier. If it is also a fault to think that noble beings are merely imputed existences, then nirvana is also like an illusion, like a dream. If there is some dharma that is more excellent than nirvana, then that is also like an illusion, like a dream, how is this? This is in terms of the wisdom of non-meditation, and the appearance of clinging is very weak. In the time of meditation, even the thought of illusion should be stopped, because if there is no movement of the mind, why even mention words? Thus it is said. How are there nine aspects? etc., this is according to the way shown earlier, the aspect that depends on each basis.
