This is to show that the absence of leisure has been exhausted. It is also not the stage of faith, because here it speaks of the Sangha of non-retrogression in learning, because it has no connection with that. If you say so, then, this is not something that cannot be said. The great scholars of the country of Oḍḍiyāna unanimously said that the non-retrogression in learning spoken of here mostly refers to this situation, but it is not that there are no others. The Sutra also says that those who die from among humans and are reborn as humans, except for Śāriputra Bodhisattva who does not regress, are all of dull faculties. The Gaṅgānapas say that there are two kinds of unconscious beings, one that is counted as having no leisure, and the other that is other than that. For those beings who, through external paths and so on, have completely refuted the lower realms and grounds and are born there, at the time of death and rebirth, due to the dominance of wrong views, they will fall into the great evil realms, and therefore are counted as having no leisure. Bodhisattvas who have not seen the truth, like people lost in a hundred paths, even if they are born there due to bad friends and so on, will not fall like them, because of the power of the Buddha's blessing and the power of their own Bodhicitta and so on. Therefore, even if one is born in the long-life gods, it is not that one is born in a place without leisure. Explaining it like this, then, in which Sutra does it say that there is only one Bodhisattva who can become a vessel of the Great Vehicle, that is, seeing that one is born in the long-life gods and so on, will also be well explained. The Vighalapas say that at the time of heat and so on, most have abandoned the evil realms and so on, so they say that, but in reality one must have obtained the patience. Therefore, because there are no evil realms, it is for the sake of generating patience towards the great Dharma. Therefore, this is a person of the heat and peak stages. They say that those who are in the lower positions can also be understood as having short lives, small sufferings, and so on. The Venerable One said that this is only taught out of necessity, so it can be established between the paths of no interruption. Like this, in various places in the Sutra, the great beings have many different explanations, because the length is too long, I have not written it here, it should be understood from listening to the Sutra.

The Bodhisattva who attains through seeing, as stated in the scriptures, by the power of skillful means, is not born in the long-life gods, but is born in any other place. This is because they do not take birth there by the power of skillful means, while the former two avoid it with fear and so on, through aspiration and so on. The once-returner, having heard of meditation and the immeasurable and so on, does not manifest their fruits, but is born in Tushita, and after dwelling there to the end, descends to this Jambudvipa and demonstrates enlightenment. Another, the one-interval, although having attained qualities from the meditations and so on up to the unmixed Dharma, still remains for one lifetime for the sake of offering to the Buddhas and so on, like, "Manjushri, are you still not satisfied with the work of offering to the Tathagatas?" Those who attain through faith and seeing are the same as before. The non-returner does not return from desiring infinite fields, and also does not return from desiring those with the unsurpassed vehicle and those with immeasurable life. They do not abandon the opportunity to tame sentient beings, because it is shown that even in the three realms that have been abandoned, there is also the work of benefiting sentient beings, so they are distinguished from the non-returners of the lesser vehicle. The one who attains nirvana in the intermediate state is born in the Brahma world, and accumulates the accumulations with that body and becomes fully enlightened. The one who attains nirvana after being born, that is, in that one lifetime in which existence and immeasurable blessings are bestowed, attains enlightenment. The one who attains nirvana with effort, in countless worlds, tames many beings with obvious effort, and there also does not boast of himself, but tames with the power of accomplishing the work. The one who attains nirvana without effort, by nature and circumstances, at the time of the first generation of mind, attains the irreversible ground, and thus becomes enlightened, like the monk Non-Disturbance, the Brahmin Ocean Dust, the Wheel-Turning King Space, and so on. Again, like the Wheel-Turning King, placing sentient beings in generosity and so on up to the path of the ten virtuous actions,
