Where would that power be? Why? Because the Buddha, having known, did not see the dharmas, so it is said. However, is this flaw from the perspective of conventional truth? That cannot be taken as a flaw, because among conventional things, some are merely imputed, such as the self; some are existent in substance and can be pointed out, such as a pot; some are existent in substance but cannot be pointed out, only arising as the division of self-awareness, such as feelings. Therefore, that which one knows oneself, although it exists, cannot be pointed out. If one clings to the self-awareness that cannot be pointed out, then there will be no existence of another's continuum. If there is no other's continuum, one will not engage in the work of benefiting beings, and then the terms of the Great Vehicle will not exist. Self-awareness is established by direct perception, so it cannot be denied; the existence of another's continuum is to be subdued through inference, so the terms are not applicable. This meaning is known through the seven modes of valid cognition, so it is not analyzed here. If self-awareness is established, then it is a contradictory entity that mutually excludes other-awareness. Therefore, the Bhagavat who possesses the wisdom of self-awareness will not become omniscient, because they must know the aspects of others. If they know the aspects of others, then the wisdom of self-awareness will not be established. Until the tenth ground, these two are contradictory as stated before, so omniscience is not imputed to them. The terms of yogis, except for the means of taming sentient beings, are all in accordance with realization, and to understand this, it is explained after careful analysis. If it were not so, how could the moments of self-awareness of each individual in the continuum of yogis be explained as characteristics that make others believe? This meaning is also established here. In the Buddha-ground, those contradictions should not be contemplated, because it is inconceivable. Therefore, it is said: Who can count the countless? Who can measure the immeasurable? I have no ability to praise the number and power of your qualities. This is praise. 'By wisdom' means by the non-conceptual wisdom of self-awareness. What does 'non-conceptual' mean?

It is. If it is said that it is non-conceptual by nature, then inanimate objects such as pillars will become wisdom. Arya Deva also said before, "If wisdom does not know, then wood should become wisdom." However, if it is placed there because it transcends thought and discrimination, then the second dhyana and so on will also become like that, because they do not have thought and discrimination. Furthermore, if it is placed there because the mind and mental factors are completely pacified, then the cessation attainment will also become like that. If it is placed there because conditions do not grasp objects, then the Buddhas and so on will also become like that. However, if one thinks that it is non-conceptual, and no other conceptual thought arises in the mind, then that itself is conceptual thought, so how can it be non-conceptual? These are not referring to here, but rather to the wisdom of individual observation, which, after observing things for a long time, does not perceive even the smallest part of things, and thus becomes certain and firm. When one does not conceptually think about any object, and the immeasurable and vast manifestation of the self-luminous wisdom is known by oneself, then what arises is non-conceptual wisdom. Those who have only seen the surface have not experienced it at all, so how can they be sure? Not having experienced pervasiveness and power, etc., is the cause of abiding in the inconceivable, and even those who have become the peak of the world have not experienced it. This pure nectar is the cause of pure compassion, and is not the enjoyment of others except for the Tathagata. It is taught that the followers of the Tathagata experience it as a kind. This wisdom should be inferred from the cause and believed to exist, but it can never be clearly grasped like objects such as vases. Therefore, the teacher also said, "When the power of meditation is accomplished, for some people, just like knowing jewels and silver, etc., all the signs of delusion are completely abandoned, and the mind that appears as the nature of illusion is non-conceptual, and if it arises correctly in some way that is to be known by each individual, then the yogi will completely eliminate the obscuration of knowledge." This explanation also establishes this meaning. The so-called "in some way" means that it cannot be
