It is exhausted. If one understands the reality of the path, one should not say that understanding the path and understanding the reality are prior. Because without the path, there is no understanding at all. This speaks of the order of manifestation, not the order of existence of reality. Because it does not arise without the path, it can only be considered that the path is prior. Therefore, everything is well established. End of the third chapter. Fourth chapter Having thus explained the manifestation of the object, since it is the fruit of combining with the understanding of the object, the manifestation of the combination is to be fully understood as the three omniscient ones. With the distinction of being under the control of the object of complete understanding, being superior, about to be taught, and being ultimate, there are also four types of combination. The first of these is the object of the nature of the three omniscient ones, and the combination of the nature of subsequent accomplishment, and the cause of its arising and non-arising, the qualities and faults, and the cause of fully understanding the nature of the characteristics, and the path with outflows of the nature of the part of liberation, and the path without outflows of the nature of the part of determination, and the characteristics of the non-returning learner, small, medium, and large realizations, and the nature of equality, doing for the sake of the Dharmakaya, and the nature of the pure land, doing for the sake of the Rupakaya, and the nature of skillful means, the eleven divisions of doing for the sake of others. Among these, for the nature of the general difference of the forms that will become the object, one should explain one's own nature and the excellent difference. By what nature does one grasp permanence, etc., as the antidote to the opposing side, taking impermanence, etc., as the object, this is also the nature of the forms because of being uncommon. What is the difference in the stage of the path of each of the three omniscient ones, that is the excellent difference of the forms. These two are temporarily shown together, and are called grasping permanence, etc. The difference lies in the nature of permanence, and non-arising, and self, and that which is blessed by it.

Because of not observing the essence itself. According to the order, the truth of suffering has the aspects of non-existence, non-arising, tranquility, and non-extinguishment. Similarly, for the subsequent aspects, one should combine them as causes according to their own nature. For the truth of the path, due to the difference in views, the aspects that are incompatible are the distinct natures of afflictions and obscurations of knowledge. Therefore, what is said to be the meaning of combining them is that they are the antidotes to the obscurations of afflictions, and so on. The meaning is this: Because the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas have the same object to be abandoned, which is the obscuration of afflictions, they abide in the truth of suffering and so on. The characteristics of impermanence and so on, the sixteen aspects of non-existence and so on, are exactly the same. The Pratyekabuddhas, however, because they are uncommon, become the antidote to the obscuration of knowledge, relying on meditation and the path of seeing that are with and without outflows. Because it is logically established that there is no birth, they hold onto the recognition of no birth, and the characteristics of no self-nature and so on, the five aspects of dreams and so on. Therefore, desire, hatred, and delusion are without self-nature, the dependent nature, not observing afflicted sentient beings, like the sky, naturally luminous and not stained, transcending all delusions by not observing, destroying all objects and being immovable, relying on the abiding of the Dharma realm as long as samsara exists, becoming the antidote to complete affliction and so on in the order, and the six aspects of non-complete affliction and so on. Thus, the omniscient nature encompasses eleven aspects. The rest is easy to understand. However, there is something to be said: the aspects of the all-aspect knowing nature, only with the two of the all-knowing nature, encompass the aspects, so why separately show those two?
