The teaching is: Like enlightenment, the guru's instructions are briefly summarized. In order to explain the implications of the unstated meaning from the verses through the gateway of entering the teachings. Among them, the words "birth" and so on refer to the fact that enlightenment with the view of emptiness of a separate self is unreasonable. This means that the enlightenment that outsiders consider to exist is unreasonable. Remaining in this state, the yogi, with the practice of selflessness that pervades everything, completely eliminates the obscurations of knowledge. That is to say, he completely and irreversibly eliminates the net of conceptualization. This should be connected with the following. Why is that? Why would one think like that? Because the words "birth" and so on are mentioned. Some non-Buddhists claim permanence, self, the nature of awareness, and the nature of non-awareness. But those who think that they are permanent like the flame of a lamp are unreasonable, so they do not accept birth and death. Some internalists claim to be liberated from permanence and annihilation, becoming the nature of soul and purusha, etc. But those natures of permanence and impermanence cannot be one, and because they are not real, birth and death should not be accepted. Anything that is empty of birth and death, even in conventionality, is like a rabbit's horn, because it is acknowledged as permanent and selfless, so it is established, and other things like permanence and Ishvara are also the same. Therefore, with this thought, the manifested view of the aggregates is the basis of self, because it relies on existence, it is the peak of all reliance. Therefore, one begins to practice meditating with the vajra posture and so on to eliminate it. That is to say, I am not, just aggregates. Therefore, from the tenets of non-Buddhist schools, because birth and death are emptiness, one thinks of selflessness and practices, completely abandoning the manifest attachment to the self. Therefore, with the emptiness of a separate self, the aggregates and so on, the aggregates, elements, and sense bases, etc., and the twelve branches such as ignorance arise, therefore dependent origination arises.
