And the essence of these, which is suchness, and which one, that is the self-nature that governs all dharmas, and for the sake of which, the Buddha himself is called perfectly complete enlightenment, these three. All aspects are summarized, and the nature and number are mentioned, such as the aspect of all-knowingness for him. What is said, "There is nothing other than the sixteen aspects of stainlessness," is considered from the perspective of the antidote to the obscurations of afflictions, so there is no contradiction between that and this. With "special union" and so on, it explains that the mother of self-nature with aspects of union is practiced by the Bodhisattva for the benefit of others. Those cannot be said without a combiner, so it is unreasonable to say "there is no need." Honoring the Buddhas means building temples and so on with the Buddha as the object, and offering food and so on to the Buddhas. Accumulating roots of virtue there means serving and honoring the Buddha and so on. Being with the protector of virtuous friends and possessing the protector of virtuous friends means that listening to this mother of self-nature with aspects of union is an increasing cause, and that receiving and holding and so on are vessels, which is agreed upon by the holy ones, because it is praised there, so it is permitted by the Buddha. The meaning of the verses is that "past" and so on are said, because one will not obtain the same as others and so on, so accumulating and practicing roots of virtue in the Buddhas who appeared in the past and present, that is, building temples and so on with all Buddhas as the object, offering food and so on to them, initially obtaining the seed corresponding to the part of liberation. In general, because others do not have it, so for the Tathagatas, in general, honoring those Buddhas themselves, and the heavenly race of all combiners who accumulate and practice roots of virtue. Body and so on means circumambulating with body, speech, and mind, and serving and relying on them by praising, hearing, and thinking and so on according to the meaning.

Having done, and pleasing and offering to the Tathagatas belonging to paintings, etc., is to please them with services such as the body. To completely inquire about the meaning of doubt is to ask the virtuous friend about the matter of being in two minds. Accomplishing the ten perfections such as giving is to practice. This, blessed by virtuous friends who are in accordance with this, is called the mother with the characteristics of aspects, the Prajnaparamita with the nature of various functions, to act in order as it is, is to respect, accumulate and cultivate virtuous roots, as well as to serve the Buddha, to completely inquire about the meaning of doubt, and to have accomplishment of giving, etc., that is, to have four virtuous friends, is to become the vessel of the four such as hearing. What is said by words, etc., is what is said by receiving, etc. Proper attention is to cultivate the path. If someone has previously seen the Buddha directly and has accumulated merit by honoring them, then one should not say why he did not practice hearing the mother, etc., from them. Because those were not objects that he could directly subdue at that time, but now, through that method or lineage, the subduing of that virtuous friend, hearing the mother, etc., will occur. In the Ornament of the Jewel Box, the Tathagata's command eliminates all obscurations, so serving the virtuous friend who dwells in Varanasi is similar, so there is no fault. What is said by form, etc., is to explain the difference of function, truly speaking, form, etc., do not exist because of their lack of self-nature, which is non-attachment. Not applying to form, etc., itself is application, which is not focusing on the three that should be cultivated, etc. Form, etc., themselves are emptiness by suchness, therefore profound, immeasurable, and immeasurable, which is not focusing on non-abiding, non-objectifying, nature, stainlessness, and infinity.

That is how it is. For those who understand and possess wisdom in this way, the five combinations such as "as the number" are explained as meanings such as "because they do not abide" in form, etc. To be afraid of that Prajnaparamita, to suffer from great hardship and long periods of time, and to attain perfect and complete enlightenment through countless eons. Obtaining Buddhahood itself from the Buddhas, thereby obtaining time, name, and certainty, etc., is to receive the prophecy. Not being afraid of it is because it can only be realized through great hardship and long periods of time, so it is explained as prophecy. To truly grasp with the nature of non-retrogression is to grasp the meaning of Prajnaparamita, etc., as it is. Renunciation means abandoning the faults mentioned below that are obstacles to obtaining supreme wisdom, which is abandoned through the power of virtuous friends, etc. Cultivating with constant mindfulness of Dharma without interruption, without cessation, with reverence, etc. From one's own perspective, it is close to true and complete perfect enlightenment, and the uncontaminated Dharma is the basis of gold. If it is only Buddhahood, then in the state of proximity, because it is separated from the appearance of the Dharma that is realized, it has never appeared before. This refers to non-afflictive wisdom, which is the basis of the ten powers, etc., that hold one's own characteristics. Quickly attain perfect and complete enlightenment, and the fruit Dharmakaya manifests, which is to perfect the Dharmakaya of the basis of the ten powers, etc., of the other side, so it is so wished. Such as "Bodhi is near and fast," etc., this is explaining the two forms of Bodhi. Turning the wheel of Dharma for the benefit of others is to fully preach the Dharma. Without increase or decrease, and without seeing the increase or decrease of form, etc., is without object. Dharma refers to form, etc. Non-Dharma refers to space, etc. The sound of "etc." refers to individuals, etc. Not truly seeing these is not approaching Dharma and non-Dharma, etc.
